2 weeks later at The Planet

"Have either of you talked to Alice?" Dana asked Shane and Tina as she sipped her coffee.

"Well she went to Milk with me last night."

"I’ve been calling her but she says she’s working or she just doesn’t answer."

"She did tell me that she’s been really busy with work." Tina nudged Shane under the table.

"Yeah. I had to drag her out of her apartment last night to get her to go with me. I had to threaten her personal safety and agree to pay for her liquor."

"Oh. Okay. I was starting to worry that she’s avoiding me or something."

"Why in the world would she do that?" Curiousity pushed Shane to implore further.

"I think she may remember." Dana shifted in her seat.

"Talk to her then."

"Yeah what’s the harm in talking to her." Shane urged.

"I can’t. You both know that." Dana looked up from her cup at the perfect moment. She spotted Alice as she darted from the counter into the bathroom.

"Um…I’m sorry guys. I need to go to the bathroom." Dana stood from the table and stalked toward the restrooms.

"Alice I know you’re in here." Dana called as she locked the door behind her.

Alice appeared from the last stall. "Hey Dana! How’s everything?"

"Don’t ‘hey dana’ me. You’re avoiding me."

"Dana I’ve been really busy. I would’ve called you or hung out but I’ve been swamped lately."

"What did I do?"

"You didn’t do anything. I’m sure we’d both remember if something did happen and last time I checked I don’t remember anything." Alice washed her hands as Dana leaned against the wall.

"Don’t be a smartass Al."

"I’m not!"

"Oh right. Excuse me. I guess it’s been so long since I saw my fucking best friend I just can’t read sarcasm anymore." Dana spat.

"What’s the deal Dana?"

"You’ve been weird since New Year’s. Do you not want to be my friend anymore? I mean if that’s it then just tell me and I’ll leave you alone."

"Why would you think that?" Alice stepped toward Dana as she dropped her towel onto the counter. Alice’s closeness infiltrated her resolve.

"I don’t know. I mean you’re so out and proud. I’m the gayest closet case this side of the western hemisphere. Maybe you don’t want that in your life anymore."

Alice stepped into Dana and hugged her. "You need to listen to me. You are my BEST friend. No matter how you decide to live your life I’m going to support that. I mean…I love you."

Dana tensed in Alice’s arms. Her hands began to roam Alice’s back as she slid her cheek across Alice’s. Alice turned to look at Dana and their lips met. Both women froze until Dana sighed against her. Alice backed her into the wall causing Dana’s mouth to open under her. Alice seized the opportunity and started to explore her hot mouth. Their tongues dueled as Alice cupped Dana’s breasts kneading them causing a groan from Dana. Dana gripped Alice by the ass and ground her center into her as she sat her on the counter. Alice fingers laced through Dana’s long locks as Dana kissed down her neck to the deep V between her breasts.

Alice dropped her head back against the mirror which brought her back to reality. She lifted Dana’s head from her chest and jumped off the counter. They stared at each other, panting hard, trying to regain some composure.

"Dana…"

"I can’t do this." Dana bit her lip to stop her tears. "I’m sorry Al." Dana unlocked the door and left Alice alone in the bathroom.

Alice dropped her head as she leaned against the counter. "Fuck me!"
