"It’s alright," I replied, slowly running my fingers through her hair. "But you are correct that we need to determine how we’re going to divulge our seeing one another. I just don’t want to think or talk about it right now. Please?"
Helena responded by closing her eyes and leaning in to kiss me. "Okay."
"There is something I’d like to discuss with you though," I said quietly.
"Hmm? What’s that?" Helena asked. She gazed into my eyes and traced my lips with her fingertips.
"When I can collect on that kiss on my ass that you promised me," I answered softly, before closing my eyes, taking one of her fingers into my mouth, and sucking leisurely.
When I opened my eyes, Helena smiled mischievously and removed her finger from my mouth. "Is now a good time?"
My clit was throbbing. "Mmm-hmm. Could you lick your way down?" I asked, taking her hand and placing it between my legs. "And make a strategic stop here?"
"With immense pleasure."
Chapter 16
Achieving a few leisure moments Tuesday morning, I attempted to call Tina a little past 11:00 a.m. from my cell phone to check on Angelica’s immunization experience at the doctor’s office. My call went to voice mail, so I assumed she was still in the medical building and unable to accept or to make calls. I left a message.
Shortly thereafter, while perusing some financial reports, my cell phone rang. I looked at the caller I.D. and smiled.
"Bette Porter," I answered.
"Why so formal, Bette Porter?" the voice on the other end asked.
"Because I’m trying to maintain some semblance of decorum," I replied.
"And why is that?" the voice inquired.
Glancing at my office door, to make sure it was securely shut, I answered, "Because just the sound of your voice makes me wet, Ms. Peabody. And, since I’m at work, I’d like to maintain some level of propriety. Otherwise, you’ll soon have me talking dirty to you."
"Is that so?" Helena continued to question me in her seductive tone.
"Yes, that’s so," I said, grinning into the phone.
"Could I possibly persuade you to interrupt your busy workday to have lunch with me?" Helena said.

Alice owes no explanation to Tina since Tina has already moved on with Henry. If Alice is smart, she will allow all three of her friends the privacy and respect they each deserve by not divulging anything to anyone. Okay, confronting Helena and Bette about their liaison is one thing, since they both know she is in the know. Tina, however, doesn’t need to concern herself with the actions of her ex-wife where romance is concerned.
Awesome chapter zheese! Thank you for writing this even despite the troubles of you’re personal life, i hope everything works out for you. Loving the interaction between Bette and Helena. And tina… none of her goddam businnes and she should leave poor alice out of it. Brilliant writing.
Hey zheese…sorry for the delays in responding to all your great chapters and your pm. I’m so curious now to see where you will take this with Tina – she gets all high and mighty when she witnesses this herself, but what about her actions??? This could get down and dirty! Keep up your great work – I am definately enjoying this one:)
Great update, nice lunch. Why do you just know that if IC doesn’t get our girls back together early on in S4, that this is exactly whats going to happen. the B&H thing would be hot, but you know whomever Bette starts seeing that Tina is only going to see green. Cos I do believe the woman not only wants the frosting, but the cake too. I know I didn’t say that right, that was the intent.
Aw, Tina really has no right to drag Alice into this… or any rights at all, really. Not to mention B&H were just starting to have fun. Well, can’t to see what transpires!

Thanks for taking time from your busy schedule to write for us zheese. I am enjoying how the story is unfolding. You paint the picture of lust with a great skill…but it seems there is emotion winding its way into the story as well. I’ll look forward to seeing how that plays out.

it so isn’t any of Tina’s business who Bette is seeing, and to go bombing into people’s houses in a huff about it and especially not to give Bette grief about it. I can see that coming!!
