    Bette returns the earring

    Tina: “Hmm well Okay I can deal with that, I’m somewhat anxious for the good news though. When are you leaving?”

     

    Eric: “Sunday morning, so we have all day tomorrow”

     

    Tina: “Great!”

     

    We finished our dinner, well he finished his my stomach wouldn’t stand for anything so I just kept drinking the wine.

     

    After dinner I reminded him that I had to stop at the CAC to pick up my earring. He was rushing so he had asked if it would be a problem if Alice would get me, because he had to really get back to work. Although I knew Alice was out I lied and said she would have no problem picking me up

     

    I stood outside the CAC doors took a deep breath and walked in.


     

     

     

    Chapter 8

     

    I was just saying goodbye to James for the night because I decided he had an extremely long day, it was about Nine at night and I felt bad, that’s when we heard the door open. A silly little smile crept over my face and my heart started to race. Could it be she was actually here in my building?

     

    James: “Were you expecting anyone? Or should I be extremely worried right now?”

     

    Bette: “Don’t worry it should be my friend Tina…she’s picking up something she left behind. I’ll walk you out.”

     

    As we proceeded to the doorway I felt like doing Cartwheels down the hall, I was ecstatic, scared, nervous all balled into one. Yet I was able to keep a calm composure, or something that look that way and head towards my destination.

     

    Bette: Tina, this is my assistant James who was just leaving.

     

    Upon looking at her I had to take a deep breath before I could speak. She looked even more beautiful than she had the night before. She wore a tight skirt that hugged her hips and a very revealing top that showed off her perfect body.

     

    Tina: “It’s a pleasure to meet you”

     

    We said goodbye to James and as he left I locked the door and turned to talk to the angel who had graced me this evening with her presence.
