    Bette returns the earring

    Bette: “No that’s not it”

     

    Tina: Oh yea, If I don’t want my earring why am I here

     

    Bette: “You wanted to see me”

     

    Tina: ‘Oh really how do you figure that”

     

    Bette: I can tell, you have abandoned yourself here knowing your best friend is out, you boyfriend is workingthe only reason you need your earring tonight, is because I have it

     

    Tina:” I think you have spent too much time in this building, and all this art is driving you insane”

     

    Bette: What did I say about all this thinking your doing. It’s not worth it because thinking is not going to stop the inevitable”

     

    Tina: What exactly is the inevitable?

     

    Here was my chance, do I confess to her my feelings or let them go. Me, Bette nervous, yeah rightoh ***** who am I fooling with her I cant do it.

     

    I turned towards my desk picked up an envelope and reached inside and pulled out her earring

     

    Bette: “me returning your earring silly”

     

    I saw a look of complete disappointment then relief flood through Tina’s face.

     

    I walked over towards her extended my hand to hers and gently placed the earring in her palm. As she started to take her hand away I grabbed it pulled her close and bent my face towards her and left the faintest yet passionate kiss I could muster.

     

    After a few seconds I pulled my face away from hers gently brought my finger towards her cheek and caressed it.

     

    Bette: “I lied, that was the inevitable”

     

    I looked deep into her eyes desperately trying to read any sort of emotion that she may convey in this moment, but she closed her eyes pulled me close and gave me such an intense kiss I couldn’t help the moan that escaped my mouth. As my tongue gained entry into her mouth I realized this was the best kiss I had ever experienced. I felt her hand reach behind my head and push me deeper into the kiss. That little gesture turned me on and I couldn’t control myself. I ran my hands across her chest eliciting little grunts of pleasure from her. We kissed until we were left gasping for air. I desperately wanted more but I knew she wasn’t ready for it. I wasn’t even positive I was ready for it.
