    Bette returns the earring

     

    Bette: “Well am I wrong?”

     

    Tina: “I don’t know I can’t answer that. Eric has something he really wants to talk to me about tomorrow.”

     

    I couldn’t stop the disappointed sigh that came out of my mouth. Here I was vulnerable ready to open myself up to someone, and she was still hesitant, I guess I had to be fair, This had to be tough for her.

     

    Tina got off me at that point knelt down in front of me and took my hand.

     

    Bette: “What exactly is your heart telling you to do right now?”

     

    Tina: “To just fall and not care what or who broke my fall. To just surrender to my feelings and let fate decide the rest. Actually its telling me to let you catch me, and take care of me, It’s saying no matter what may come of this it will be worth it. I am about to embark on a journey that couldn’t have been planned on.”

     

    Bette: “So what’s stopping you?”

     

    Tina: “My head…It’s telling me to run out of here, now, Go find Eric and follow the life that will be less difficult. But I won’t do that exactly. I will wait until tomorrow to make my decision. I have to see what Eric wants I owe him that much. Is that all right Bette? Will you be all right with that?” I’m in love with him or at least thought I was, and risking things with someone I barely know just doesn’t look or seem like a good idea

     

    Bette: “Tee, I already told you no matter how long it takes I will be here waiting for you. I just want you to be happy. I cant explain what I’m feeling anymore. Its exhausted me”

     

    Tina:” Tee? “

     

    Bette: “I explain all that and that’s what you get yourself hooked on? Oh boy umm I don’t know sorry just came out”

     

    Tina: I Think I like it, its special It came from your heart, Bette You are my first woman certainly my last but I’m confused and I need time to think, Things may not work out the way you want them too
