Tina sat with her knees pressed tightly against her chest, her arms wrapped around them and her forehead resting on top. She heard a loud blast as the ground began to shake slightly. She lifted her head and was reminded of the attack on her castle all those days ago. Was that really all it had been? A mere week since her life had completely turned upside down, it felt like a lifetime. She had nearly lost both her father and lover, her home was destroyed and now she was rotting in some god forsaken dungeon at the mercy of her psychotic captor.

Tina sighed and threw her head back against the stone wall when she heard the blast again. With the pain dulled and her achy muscles had finally stopped their annoying throbbing, she was finally able to focus on what was happening. Her eyes widened as she realized that the blast did very much sound like the attack on her castle. That meant that there was now an attack on the fortress. Bette was here.

Before Tina could even get her excitement under control, the rusty hinges of the door beside her squeaked. Her heart stopped beating and her body already began to weep. Jodi was back for another round of torture and though Tina was able to hold out this long, she didn’t know if she could handle another session. She was very close to breaking, a woman could only take so much.

Tina watched the open door and waited for Jodi to enter but she never did. A few seconds later, someone wearing a large brown cloak entered and swiftly closed the door behind them. The person had another cloak in hand as they turned to Tina and walked over. The person took off the hood that was obstructing Tina’s view and the blonde’s eyes widened at who the person was.

Amy.

Amy crouched down beside Tina and used a small glowing knife to cut away the mystical ropes that held Tina’s wrists captive. Tina could do nothing but watch, she was shocked as to why Amy was here and helping her.

"Wha . . what are you-"

"Getting you out of here" Amy cut her off.

She cut away the last of the rope and held onto one of Tina’s hands, pulling it to make the blonde stand. Instantly, Tina screamed out in pain and Amy quickly released the hand. Tina gripped her arm and started panting.

"B-broken" She croaked out.

Amy offered a sad, apologetic smile and sighed. She held out her hand for Tina to take, deciding to do this at the Princess’ pace. She knew Jodi had hurt her immensely and knew that this would be much harder than she had anticipated. Still, there wasn’t much time. Someone would be checking on the source of Tina’s scream very soon.

"I’m sorry but we have to go. Bette is waiting"

Tina’s eyes widened at the sound of her lover’s name. Her suspicions were true then. Bette was really here, her love had come to save her. Tina almost cried with all the joy she felt, this horrible nightmare would come to an end soon. She looked into Amy’s impatient eyes and slowly placed her good hand in Amy’s. She was slowly helped to her shaky feet, her legs throbbed from their earlier beatings but she remained standing. Bette was here and that gave Tina all the strength she needed.

Amy guided Tina carefully but quickly toward the door and they made their way through the dungeon halls, keeping out of sight.
