    Nothing to say other than, its the last chapter!

    Tina looked up at Jodi, her eyes darting back and forth between both of the Empress’ glowing eyes. She didn’t know where Jodi was going with all this.

    Jodi shook her head at the silent response and placed a finger on her temple, "You know . . I would bet anything you blamed it all on poor little Jenny. My useless assassin"

    Jodi smiled at the confusion on Tina’s face and turned back to Bette. She slowly made her way over to the angry brunette and spoke softly.

    "Jenny was sometimes helpful I’ll give her that. Telling me whenever Tina wandered off alone or with little protection. She went soft on me though when I ordered her to kill the Princess. Why is it so hard to just take a life without thinking twice or asking questions?"

    The question was rhetorical but Jodi offered a moment of silence to see if anyone would humor her and answer anyway. She shrugged after a few moments.

    "Anyway, what I loved most about dear little Jenny was she always liked getting ahead. I think she would have given up her own mother if it meant she could rise up in the ranks"

    Jodi began to slowly pace back and forth in front of Bette, clearly amused that the brunette couldn’t move. She felt confident and smug that no one could stop her.

    "She came to me one night, you know. She claimed she had a juicy tidbit for me. You see, the Princess was hiding a secret relationship. What Jenny didn’t know was that I had already been told that little piece of information, free of charge too . . well . . maybe not free"

    She smiled and turned to Bette, walking dangerously close to the tensing brunette. She lowered her voice but made sure Tina was still able to hear, she was enjoying this way too much.

    "Do you know who it was who told me?"

    Bette stared at Jodi, unable to move but the fire in her eyes said it all. She was fighting over whether or not it was possible. It couldn’t be true.

    14. Great Story! It was very well written and I enjoyed reading it thoroughly! I wish it didn’t end. I would love a sequel if possible or maybe some snippets atleast! Thanks Liax would love to read more from you in future. :D
