All I wanted to do all day long was kiss you. Please tell me if u don’t want me to. Chapter–one

    "I should go…"

    "Yeah, you should."

God, that hurt. I felt the knife every moment it turned and turned. I was awaiting the moment to smell her hair. The sweetness of her shampoo. The smell of exotic fruits made me moan to myself. I couldn’t believe that our moment was over. The empty office that was filled earlier with clients and guests, was now empty except the two bodies standing within it. Mine and hers.

As I was backing away, with my bag in my hand, I noticed her sudden change in behavior. She was quiet and she looked confused. I didn’t know of anything to say, but, I knew that for the first time ever, I was anxious to get the hell out of there. Feeling the door touch my hand, made me happy inside. Because, freedom was a few doors away and I had already went through one of them. Once outside the hall, I was able to breath and think straight. A bubble bath with a glass of wine was waiting for me. I could definitely use a break.

    Bette’s pov

-After I knew she was gone finally, I began to cry. I felt sorry for myself and what I had done. To me it was completely and utterly out of my control. It just happened straight like that. Sitting down to catch my breath led me to think of Tina. Her smile, her smell, her touch…

The feeling of losing everything in the flash of a second had my mind crashing against its self.. I was thinking about telling her what happened, but, I couldn’t collect my actions to complete this dedicated and trusted task. I didn’t want to be looked down upon as some coward who let a woman come into her life and ruin everything she’s worked hard for. I didn’t want to acknowledge the allegation I had just bought against myself. I was trying in everyway possible to make it seem like this wasn’t my fault.

Once I reached home, the consequences to my actions bothered me more. I couldn’t help seeing Tina’s face in the aftermath once she found out what happened between me and Candace. My dedicated carpenter, who in someway or another came on to me in a respectful, blunt way, was now beginning to make me wonder about her, and what she actually had to offer me.
