All I wanted to do all day long was kiss you. Please tell me if u don’t want me to. Chapter–one
"I can’t wait to hear about it."
"I can’t wait to tell you. But, Dana just entered the room and the girls are surrounded around me."
"Ok. Hey, when are you coming home?"
"I’ll be home sometime tonight."
Hearing the news saddened me. I couldn’t eat and couldn’t sleep all last night. I had to release the tension within my chest. My guilt was sufficating me. I was losing my ability to breath and think freely. I felt cluttered within the great amount of space around me. What the fuck was I doing?
Tina’s pov
-The silence in the background made me think that Bette hung up. There wasn’t any signs of oxygen being released and taken into her succulent lungs. She was quiet to me and this bothered me.
"Is everything ok?"
"Yeah. I’m fine."
A smile forms across my face. I had missed her last night. I wished she could of gotten away from work and took a vacay with me. But, you can’t always have what you want.
"Well, I’ll see you tonight."
"I can’t wait. I love you."
"I love you more. Bye, babe."
"Bye, sweetie."
"Bye."
Bette’s pov
-The phone clicks in my ear. I had completed one obsticle and I had at-least five more to go. While I was on the way out the house, I thought about Candace and my heart fluttered.
As I was making my way toward my car, Tim was just exiting his place. He looked down and sad about something. He wasn’t his usual self. Everyone had heard what happened between Marina and Jenny. I never saw it coming. But, Tina did.
I wonder would she be able to read me when I tell her about Candace and what happened last night. The thought of looking into her sparking hazels made my heart drop deep into my stomach. I shook it off and entered my vehicle. I was off for another day of self-control.
Arriving to work on time was prompt this month. The opening of Provocations was at the end of the month. I couldn’t wait to show Tina what I had accomplished. I knew she would be proud of me and my dedication to my work.
