All I wanted to do all day long was kiss you. Please tell me if u don’t want me to. Chapter–one

Then, I see that part of her being mad at me for letting another woman kiss me.

Entering the main lobby and seeing James made me smile. He was always waiting for me, with my coffee in one hand, and the list of appointments in the other. I hurried and approached him quickly. I never liked making anyone wait for me.

    "Thanks. Good morning, James."

    "Good morning, boss. Where’s Tina?"

"She’s still in Palm Springs. She’s coming home tonight."

"Great. Maybe she might be the one to make you smile around here. You’ve been very uptight."

"No, correction. I’ve been very busy."

"If that’s the way you look at it boss. I’m cool with it."

    "Goodbye, James."

    "Bye, Bette."

The long walk down the corridor, bought back flashbacks of last night. The conference room where it all took place was less than fifty feet away and two doors down. I was nervous and my knees were knocking.

The entrance to my office was cleared of mail parcels. There was usually a stack in front of my door. The mail carriers would leave it there, because, I never allowed anyone in my office but James and Tina. They had twenty-four hour access anytime they needed it.

I open my office door easily detaching the key from the lock. The smell of melons and berries reminded me of the first time Tina came to visit me here. She adored the smell of my office and how neat and organized I was. The whole room made you feel welcomed no matter who you were. In the past I received numerous of compliments about my private work station.

I was known to be clean and enjoyed a relaxing and reliable place to clear my mind. With the flick of the power button, my computer and hard drive were up and running. Placing my bag down, I happened to catch a glimpse of Tina and I. It was the picture we took on our first date. I knew I had her then no matter who she was with. She looked so happy with me. We looked and appeared to be the perfect couple. But, what people never knew, was the real problems we were going through. And, communication was one of them.
