All The Fallen ~*~ Chapter 16 ~*~ The Climber
Dana walked into the house, still feeling the effects of the tequila and the hot sex in the bathroom. She and Lacey had stumbled into bed, someone’s bed anyway, and fucked until dawn, at least she thought it had been dawn. She didn’t remember, she just remembered a lot of groping, sweating and fucking. That memory was more than enough to last her a life time.
Now it was noon and Dana was still blurry eyed and lost. She rubbed her mouth with the back of her hand, pushing open the door to her house and the sound of an irate Tonya greeted her sensitive ears.
“SNOOKUMS!” The woman yelled and Dana winced. She rubbed her temple and waved Tonya away as the woman tried to hug her.
“Tonya…” She muttered, having totally forgotten about the woman; she made a face as Tonya put her hands on her hips and gave her a look.
“Where the fuck have you been? I’ve been calling your cell. I was worried. I was going to send out a search party! Where have you been?” Tonya berated her and Dana pushed her away.
“Where I wanted to be. You’ve asked me like 10 times now.” Dana grunted, wanting a shower, and Tonya blocked her path. Dana stopped, not wanting to touch her, not wanting Tonya to smell the scent of Lacey’s sex on her. The thought just sent deadly shivers through her. This was her wife. But then again, Dana didn’t much care anymore.
“I asked you once, perhaps twice. I was worried….” Tonya began, reaching out to touch Dana’s cheek and Dana slapped the hand away before she could touch her.
“I’m going to take a shower, then I’m going to bed.” Dana said, then added. “Alone.” She walked off, not wanting to fight, just wondering how she was going to get out of this farce of a marriage in one piece. She couldn’t fathom how she’d allowed it to go this far in the first place, as if the common sense part of her brain had been switched off. Now that it was on again, she knew it was the second worst mistake she’d ever made; the first was turning her back on Lara instead of fighting for the woman she loved.
