All you need is love – Chapter 49
Tina was totally lost in her writing. After months of struggling with so many distractions she had finally managed to get to a place in her head when the only thing that mattered was her detective – who was everything that her ex husband was not – solving the crime and saving his daughter from a horrible and very bloody death. Finally the puzzle that she had set was getting close to being solved and if she had only another hour she would get it done.
“Mommy – I’ve hurt myself “Tina looked up at Hannah who had come back into the house with a dirty and cut knee
“What did you do sweetie?”
“Maddy pushed me off the slide “
“I am sure she didn’t mean it “
“She did – she’s horrible “
Tina saved her work and picked up her youngest daughter who looked very miserable. Tina kissed her and chatted to her while she bathed her knee and put on a plaster. After the reward of a cookie she carried her back outside. Tina smiled at the sight that met her eyes. She had bought a giant paddling pool which had taken both Bette and Tina with hose pipes over 20 minutes to fill. The result was six very happy children who had all hurried to get changed into swimming kits so they could enjoy the cool water on what was a hot day. Bette had volunteered to supervise along with Helena who was complaining of boredom with Jodie out of town. So she had skipped work for the afternoon and was now getting splashed by Dan and Becky because she was still in a smart grey business suit
“You two monsters are in SO much trouble “ she was telling them
“Your fault “ Dan replied
“And how do you make that out young man ?”
“You are dressed too stuffy “
“I have been to work – a concept that you two will find out about when I persuade your mothers that I really need two underage staff to bully shamelessly – I will have you know that I am fierce and scary boss “

Allye, thanks for this update, I was missing it. Really do love this story. Tina and Bette get along so well in this one and you let all the love shine through. Great job. AllyE you are wond fantastic writer. You should have made your stories into a book, especially this one. I must tell you, we had already gone up to the middle 20’s chapters when I suddenly realized the title of the story was the title of a Beatle’s song. Sometimes slow on the uptake. Thanks for posting. Love all your stories.
Hello Ally, Great to have you back posting this tale of love and understanding. LOved that Ollie was finally getting his shot together. I guess everyone getting on to him finally sank through. Again, you crafted a beautiful scene as Tina emmerged from a cocoon as a butterfly. And a damn hot one at that. Being in love suits her. I just love the complexity of this tale; apparently hidden by the luxurious flow of words. Ally, you are the mistress of magical moments; conjured up by the simplest of scenes. The romance of this tale oozes out. Thank you so much for coming back to it. Your Loyal Fan.
Yay, new chap! The idea of B&T looking drop dead gorgeous yet still wobbling around on their heels strikes me as hilarious. And at last, Ollie’s learned some manners. I hope Bette’s plans for Christmas don’t bring the old Ollie back. But hopefully he’s learned to ask “How high?” when Bette and Paul say jump. Thanks for the chapter, ally! cheers

Dainty, this isn’t the first time Ally has used a Beatles song for a title. :) “The Long and Winding Road.” ;) Anyway I’m sure Tina will charm Peggy endlessly, and now I have to see “Some Like it Hot.” LOL
This story is great. Its so… fun. They both have already had too much shit thrown at them in their lives for this not to be a happy story. Otherwise, it would just be like kicking them when they are down. Thats what I like out it. Its a fun, happy story about discovering something beautiful in another person.
after the drama of TLWing that was a lovely respite and this Tina likes an Alpha Bette!!! that’s so cool. Even Ollie was nice. Very realistic portrayal of the moms’ lives. Thx.
Thank You Ally, I’m with akalittlered I just love AYNIL I like your other stories but this one just strikes a cord in me. I love the romance between these two women they love each other unconditionally and thier families blend so well. I’m glad Ollie has finally come to his senses Bette probably doesn’t fully trust him but at least it’s a start.

I love this story, but I can’t help the feeling that the last sentence of this chapter sounded a little ominous! You are a drama queen, so I can’t help the feeling that the other shoe is gonna drop on this relationship soon. That just means it sensational writing! You’re the best!

Ally: Wow! Major “A” Plus! This chapter really rocked!! All the emotions were in the palm of your hands and even further! Even when trecelovinit call you “a drama queen”, that did not justice to you… This is just outstanding and full of entangling feelings that, they just get to your guts and you just lay absolutely bare, with no words to speak! But, you are talking about the true nature of being in love and no words can describe that special moment, when you are swept off your feet and that special someone makes you feel like you are special and out of this world! Tks for giving us back that wonderful feeling about how thrilled we are when we feel so deep in love!

With the ample amounts of grease that Bette and Paul have applied, it seems Oily has finally pulled his head out of his ass. Here’s hoping it won’t slip back in. Hope nobody gets injured tottering around on those heels. I will refrain from a diatribe on their ability to harm and subjugate women. But I’m sure Tina will be getting the kind of contract she’s looking for.
