An Ode to Summer Chapter 1
The alarm on my phone sounds and brings me out of my boob induced reverie. My shift is done! YES! The best part of my day. I blow my little silver whistle to alert the kids to stop and listen for further instructions. “Ok, every body out of the water. It’s time to head back to your cabins and shower & I do mean shower boys! Dinner will be served in the dining hall in an hour. Have a good evening & I’ll see you guys tomorrow.” Now to find Tina!
As I begin the short trek from the lake to the arts and crafts building, I can’t help but be overwhelmed with thoughts of the gorgeous blonde who is waiting beyond those 4 walls.
I take in a deep breath and for the first time since we arrived 2 days ago, my eyes are opened to the magnificent view that surrounds me. Nature. Life. Beauty.
I stop for a moment to take it all in. It really is amazing out here. I close my eyes and take in another deep breath and hold it for a few seconds, then exhale slowly. Wow, maybe this place isn’t so bad after all? I open my eyes just in time to see her walking towards me. She has that look in her eye. That look that says, ‘I told you so’. Could she have heard my inner thoughts? Could she know that I am actually enjoying my time here? Of course she knows. She can read me like a book and I have no intention of changing that. It’s easy being vulnerable with her. I have absolutely no problem letting her be right all the time. Well, most of the time anyway. I wouldn’t be Bette Porter if I didn’t at least pretend to be alpha every now and then, right? She knows the truth and that’s all that matters.
God, I love this woman! No matter how many times I see her, she still takes my breath away. As much as I love seeing her all dressed up in a sexy little number, I actually love this look the most. Her hair is up in a messy pony tail. She’s wearing a pair of old faded Levi’s with holes in the knees and a Tiffany blue tank top with flip flops. Her toe nails are painted the sweetest shade of pink called Heart Throb, which is appropriate considering that’s exactly what the sight of her is causing mine to do in this very moment! We had a toe nail painting party with a group of junior high girls on Monday night just to try and get to know some of them better. Every staffer picked a group of kids to spend an hour with the first night to try and build relationships and maybe ward off any homesickness.

Like this story. Always like a story that shows the sweetness of Tina and the love she has for Bette. She is truly a mother at heart, always showing the love, kindness and tenderness and always including others in that loving world of hers. Always love her when she gets a bit ticked off and starts talking thru her teeth, she’s really made when she does that and gets her point across with being really ugly to someone. Bad Tina is lovely. So much fun. Thanks for posting and Welcome. .

You hooked me with this story.
Tina a love of people is because it is taking advantage
the field to give a sample of what Bette
lost in his childhood, when, instead of playing
she had to spend time studying .Tina make dolls
shadow was great! reminded me of mine, because I
loved doing these shadow puppet.
I see the beginning of a great story B & T.
Congratulations!
