It was Saturday morning and Tina was still in bed, thinking. She could not stop thinking about the day before. Shes been up since 8 just lying there, thinking. She knew she had to talk with somebody.

She jumped off the bed, took a quick shower and headed to Alices. My own guru, she thought.

Alice was pretty much in angels domain, sleeping like a baby so it took Tinas ringing like a lunatic to wake her up.
She opened the door still asleep, with her hair up and messy looking like a wig from a horror movie.
Tina kissed her on the cheek before shed even ask what she was doing there and walked to the kitchen, with coffee and croissants, Alices favourites. Alice followed her, not really knowing what she was doing. Tina sat her on a chair, handing her the coffee that was already in Alices mug. Tina sat down and looked at her friend, waiting for the coffee to have its effect.


It took Alice a few minutes to be able to open her eyes. Then, seeing Tina for the first time she smiled, making and enormous effort doing that, she was still half asleep.


Hey, you here Alice was finding difficult to talk. She sipped more coffee.
Hey you too .Tina was smiling, she was used to Alices slow awakenings. It was always fun to see the whole process, it was like a silent funny movie. She waited for another couple of minutes for Alice to be finally awake.


So whats up? Alice was finally focusing Tina.
I brought your cell. Tina was not sure how to get to the point.
And?, dont tell me you woke me to give me back the cell, Ill kill you, I was having the most amazing dream
Was I in it? Tina was hoping Alice wasnt too mad at her.

Alice took a bite at one the croissants.
Tina laughed.

Alice looked at Tina, throwing her a dont tease me more lady kind of look.

Ok, ok, Al, am really sorry but I need to talk with you

Alice was sipping her coffee but hearing Tina talk she left the mug on the table and stared at her.

No more lazy fingers or government calls I hope

Alice wasnt really enjoying Tinas teasers, she was still asleep for god sake!

They went to Alices bedroom. Alice lied on the bed and Tina took the place at her side.

Alice had her eyes close, feeling the warm duvet under her, the soft pillow calling her name.
Uh ? (Tina poked Alice on the ribs) Hey!!, am not, am not!, ok (she opened her eyes) ok, shoot!

Uh?Alice looked at her friend, then she sat on the bed.

Tina was not looking at Alice, she was a bit embarrash.

Tina turned her head to look at Alice the moment she heard the question.

I dont know Al, Ive only known her briefly and I feel like I can talk with her about anything, she lets me talk, she doesnt push, she doesnt need to fill the silences, she doesnt seems to want to be in controlits so easy Al

Tina was crying, quietly. She was scare to move on, to find out. Alice moved closer to Tina, taken her hand she caressed it.

Then Alices cell beeped, bringing them back to reality.Tina looked the id and handed to Alice.

Tina couldnt stop a smile, listening to her friend.

Alice hits Tinas arm, looking for attention, once she got it she mouthed, pointing at the cell, she met Kournikova, she beat her!!

Alice hung up, placing the cell on the bed. Tina was looking at her, worried.
