Tina was tired. She didnt sleep that much after what happened at the club.
She was drunk when she saw Bette but the moment she felt Bettes touch, her eyes on her, her arms holding her all her drunkenness disappeared.
She knew what she was doing, or at least she felt like she knew. She wanted Bette so she let herself go. She liked the effected she had on Bette. She needed to see the desire in her eyes. It was the only eyes she cared about while she was dancing. She needed to feel Bette jealousy, Bettes lust, Bettes weakness. As she was driving back to Danas Tina thought about Bette and how she acted last night. She had to smile, it made her feel good but thinking about the night before also made her feel guilty. Jack. She liked Jack , she wanted Jack but she also knew she was not in love with her. The moment Jack told her she had to face it. It was true, as much as Tina wanted to be over Bette, Jack saw all through her, after all those conversations. Jack saw all through they way Tina fucked her that she was still in love with Bette. Tina smiled thinking about Jack. She wasnt sure how she was going to do it but she didnt want to lose her.


Tina took a small nap and after having lunch she decided to check her emails. She has been lazy about them, its been almost a week since she checked them. Since she was working at the Center, full time now, she was no longer in a hurry to read her emails. It was a new way of living, if only she could live without her cell….


It took her whole afternoon to read them all. Almost all were from Bette, there was one from Wendie one from Dana and one from Zoe. But Bette emails were the ones that stayed in her memory. She read them all and for the first time she really saw Bettes changes and started to understand Bettes fears.

Realizing all that only made her plans for the day even more important. She moved to the bathroom and took along bath, bubbles and all. She wanted to relax and think about what she was going to say and how she was going to say it. She chose her lucky jeans and an old white shirt she loved. She left her hair wet, to dry by itself. She choose her favourite boots and put on a very light make-up and with that she headed to the Planet to meet her first appointment.


Jack was already there. She was reading the paper. Before approaching her Tina took a few seconds to look at her. God she was beautiful! Her oval face, her voluptuous lips, her long, long legs and mostly her soft olive sweet skin. She smiled thinking about last night. It was another Tina she said to herself. With that she walked to meet Jack who was already looking at her, smiling.

Hey you
Hey. Tina didnt know how to act with Jack so she leaned and give her a sweet chaste kiss on the lips.
Tina sat down and looked at Jack, not sure how to start what she wanted to say. Jack noticing Tinas awkwardness took her hand playfully.
“So, you hangover?”

Tina smiled, the ice was broken.

“Nah, am a tough drinker
Yeah, I can tell Jack laughed at Tinas statement, both of them knowing it was a huge lie.
“So, did the night end ok?” Jack was serious now, concern was on her face.
Tina was feeling guilt all over her body.

“About that, I need to apologize Jack. Am really sorry about last night.”

Jack could see how sorry Tina really was.

Its ok T. I told you yesterday. Its ok.

Tina was trying to smile, nodding.

“Yeah, but ther is a problem.”
“What is it baby?”
Jack was worried now. She really cared for Tina. Was still getting over last nights encounter but she wasnt hurt. She was just getting over the great feeling she had while she let Tina do what she did to her. She was getting over the idea, the knowledge that shed have really fall for Tina.

“Its, its that Jack, I dont want to lose you. I know I have no right to say it, or even to ask but , but I want you in my life
Tina, am here. Am not going anywhere.

Tina had tears in her eyes. She didnt know why or how but she knew that Jack was the friend she needed, she wanted to be her friend too.

I mean it Jack, I know it might be no fair but Id love to be your friend. I need you as a friend
I told you T, am here. I felt it too. I know we had (looked back at Tina as she as looking at their hands), have something special. But I also know you love Bette. I could see it yesterday. There is something powerful between you two. It was so attractive to watch.

Tina was smiling at Jack. She was amazed by her generosity by her candour.

“About that (Tina frowned), I dont know Jack. I know that back in my head my mind had been made up about her long time ago but I dont know how to let this horrible scary feeling go. I need to learn how to love her again, how to trust her again. I have to do it my way. Cant give in so easily. Need to see how it goes.”

Jack was nodding, letting Tina talk. And when she finished she moved her hand to her cheek to take away the tears that Tina didnt even know were there.



Bette was nervous, so nervous that she changed her outfit many times before leaving the house. She spent the day dozing off. Trying to clear her thoughts the time she was awake. Tinas call put a smile on her face for the rest of the day. Just thinking that Tina called her before getting into her car, before even really leaving her house, their house ,made Bettes day.

While she was in the tub, relaxing, it wasnt the amazing what was that?… she was not sure how to call what happened at the club, it wasnt really *****, well, it was, she corrected herself, but it was something more and even something less. While in the tub Bette wasnt thinking about that, was thinking about the call Tina made the moment she left the house. It was so sweet, so playful, so hopeful. ..

Bette finally chose her outfit. She cleaned her entire closet and at the end she found something that she was sure was going to make her feel secure and brave. She put on her favourite black slacks (one of many) and taking her old black turtle neck she took a look at it, checking it was still ok to wear it, not too old or wasted. She put it on and immediately she felt perfect. She looked in the mirror and decided to put her hair in a loose ponytail. She knew it was too casual but beacuse of that she decided to put on some make-up, her eyes and lips mostly. She smiled at her reflection, I hope it works!, she whispered to herself as in a silence prayer.

She drove to the Planet with the same silly smile on her face. She parked and for the first time in weeks was not scare to walk inside. She saw Shane parking her truck and waved at her. Shane was on the phone so Bette decided to walk in without her.
The moment she entered she scanned the place looking for Tina. She knew she was already there as she saw her car on the street. It took her a while to see her, the place was crowded so she had to walk around to see her.

At first she didnt realize that it was Tina because she had her back to her but then she saw the woman from last night, the one who was dancing with Tina.Bette did the match. She saw how the woman caressed Tinas cheek and Bette felt her heart sink. She could not move, she stood there, looking at them till Shane tapped her on the shoulder.


Tina, hearing Shanes voice tuned around. She didnt notice the time so she wasnt expecting Bette yet and the moment she saw her, the moment she saw the look on Bettes face she knew that something was wrong. She stood up and walked towards her but Bette didnt wait for her, she turned around and walked out of the Planet
