Alice shifted on her pillow and took the invitation. Were being invited to a party given by Peggy Peabody? How odd.

Alice bit her lip. But sweetie, we said we were going to do something special this weekend and spend as much time together as possible since youre leaving next week.

Dana almost rolled her eyes, but caught herself. Honey, we can still have fun and spend time together. Cmon, lets go, she encouraged.

But why are we invited? Alice asked, setting the invitation on the bedside table.

I dont know, Dana answered with a shrug. Call Bette and ask her.
