    10:00am

    Tina was sobbing on the pillow. She had been sobbing severely since she had heard the news.

    Angie was curled up next to her wondering why her mother was sad. She sat up and touched her mother’s cheek gently, "ma, why sad?"

    Tina let out a cry and pulled Angie into a hug, "oh God Ange, what are we gonna do without Momma B? What am I gonna do without you, Bette?"

    Tina sobbed as Kit walked into the room. "Baby girl," she sobbed, "you have to try to sleep."

    "I can’t Kit," Tina cried, "I can never sleep again without Bette by my side."

    "I understand baby girl," Kit said sitting down next to Tina and grabbing her hand, "she wasn’t supposed to go before me." Her voice cracked and she broke into tears.

    "I can’t live without her Kit," Tina whimpered laying her head on Kit’s lap.

    "But you have to," Kit said helping Tina sit up and grabbing Angie, "you have to do it for baby girl."

    Tina wiped her tears and followed Kit into the living room where she snuggled up to Kit on the couch, crying on her chest.

    The doorbell rang and Kit moved to answer it. Before Kit could even see who it was she was pushed aside as Alice bolted into the house crying and jumping on the couch next to Tina.

    "Please tell me it isn’t true!" Alice cried.

    "I wish I could," Tina sobbed pulling Alice into a hug.

    Tasha walked in and closed the door behind her, "I’m so sorry Tina."

    "No! Porter is too strong to die like that!" Alice cried.

    "I haven’t lost hope that they’ll find her," Tina said.

    "My friend Paul from the NYPD is gonna let me help with the search," Tasha said.

    "Thanks so much Tasha," Tina said holding Alice.

    The doorbell rang again to reveal an inconsolable Shane next to Helena.

    Shane ran in and joined Tina and Alice in the hug, "this can’t be happening."

    "Try to calm down darling," Helena said rubbing Shane’s back.

    "How can I calm down?" Shane sobbed looking at Helena, "I keep losing everyone I ever cared about! First Dana, then Shay, then Jenny, and now Bette! I can’t handle it!"

    4. I am so glad Bette’s getting her memory back. Slowly but surely she’ll remember more. I hope the surgery works on Bette. Maybe she should get McDreamy to do her surgery ;) lol. On a Grey’s binge lol. Amazing story, sounds like Leo may have a new family to be apart of.

    8. brilliant, as always, i love it, Tina nearly hitting Kelly brilliant, as always you are great! Love this story, oh dear, i better go and pack, i’m suppose to be getting a train to my mums, and what am i doing reading your up date! lol

    13. Okay there’s something missing. How did the police know to go to Tina, she didn’t call them and report Bette missing. So maybe Leo will go to the police and see if they knew who to contact because of the car going over the bridge. I like Leo, he is one determined guy and I’m so glad he came along when he did. He can apply some common sense to this situation and find Tina and get her to Bette. Tina needs to calm down and understand that if Bette were deceased she would be the first to know it because of their very deep connection. She is letting her emotion get in the way which is, of course, natural but she needs to come down and center herself and think. The police needs to check the hospitals and the hospital needs to check with the police dept to see if they have anyone reported to have been in a car accident and the car went over the bridge. They must apply their emergency procedures to determine who Bette is and I think Leo will help a lot with that. Great chapter. Thanks.

    14. The girls should have let Tina shred Kelly to pieces. How can Bette remember Tina, the gallery, and where she used to live and NOT her own name????? Hmmm. But, I am willing to wait and find out. Leo, go find Tina. It shouldn’t be so hard.

    18. Wow I almost cried at the beginning of this story even though I knew Bette was still alive I felt so sorry for Tina and what she was going through! Great story so far :D
