"Hmm, I am sorry that I could not tell you at the moment" Dana realized Alice’s face drop after her comment. She felt like her heart was being stabbed multiple times with a sharp knife upon seeing this. She quickly put her hands on Alice’s shoulders so that Alice was now facing her.

"Alice, please look at me, please." Dana said as gently as possible. Alice looked at Dana, but her face was still very sad. Dana cleared her throat.

"Believe me, Alice. I so want to tell you. But now is just not the time." Still no reaction from Alice.

"If I were to tell you now, it means that I am not telling you the entire truth. I mean I really like you, hmm, like us, and I want nothing but to know more about you and if you feel the same then we might take one step further to be in a relationship. I think I am starting to fall in love with you, in fact more in love compared to the first time we met at the Planet and I hope you felt the same too. And I am thinking about a possible long haul here. Therefore, I don’t want to cheat on you. It might screw things up. I want you to know everything about me, but I need to really figure out on how to tell you in a proper way. So, please, can you give me some time? I promised I will make it up to you. I promise." Dana stopped and looked at Alice. She kicked herself for rambling again.

Alice couldn’t believe what she heard. The person in front of her just confessed her feelings and thought of a long haul relationship with her. It was so sweet to Alice because it came out from Dana’s. She looked into the blue eyes and found sincerity in them. In those eyes she can feel happiness and at home by just looking at them. She then smiled at Dana. Dana was relief upon seeing this.

"First date with me and you are already thinking about long haul?" Alice couldn’t help but to tease.

Dana realized what she had said in her rambling and this made her face blushed like mad.
