    ” Oh, right here, I got you a chicken salad that O.K”

    ” Sounds great” Alice dove in the bag to get Bette her salad

    ” There you go Porter..” Bette grabbed the food from Alice..

    ” Thanks”

    They both started on their food, enjoying small talk about their dayswhen Alice remembered that Bette wanted to talk about something

    ” So Miss cryptic, what was up with you this morning, what do you wanna talk about.I’m all earsalthough salad may start pouring out of them I’m that full” Alice joked finishing off her food, Bette knew she couldn’t get out of this now, should she tell Alice about Tina, what was there to tell?.. Alice looked at Bette confused

    ” Wellis everything O.K”

    ” Everything’s fine Alice”

    ” Nah ah Bette, tell all, what’s going on”

    Bette looked at Alice, she had grown to love Alice, the few weeks they spent together as partners confirmed to her that she only wanted her as a friend nothing more, and that was what they had become, best friends, Bette knew that she could tell Alice anything and she would try her best to help her but this was a situation only Bette could handle. Alice looked at her expectantly, she seen a glimpse of worry in her eyes, so she took a deep breathe and started.

    ” I don’t know how to explain this Al but.I’m having these feelingsthat erm” Bette started laughing

    ” Well I’ve never felt them before” Alice cut in..

    ” What kind of feelings Bette”

    ” I don’t know Alicegod it’s so fucked up”

    ” What is, your being Miss cryptic again, what has happened”

    ” You know my last dinner party”

    ” Yep, course..”

    ” Was you introduced to a couple ermEric and Tina?”

    ” Erm.. Yeah, I was actually, Bette I don’t get it” Alice looked on in confusion..

    ” Tina..Erm whilst at the dinner I noticed her ear-ring had fallen out so I handed it back to her, but after the party was over Suzy was cleaning and she found the ear- ring, so she handed it to me and I recognised it straight away to be.. Tina’s.”

    ” So What your feeling is guilt cos you kept her ear- ring”

    2. well, if tina even think about bette, she’s already not really straight…i don’t think her friends will see her after the dinner, i hope bette will take care of that

    4. Tina just have to follow her heart and destiny will take care off the rest :o)) And no one can resist the Porter charm LOL….Great story but please post more often or/and longer post….I’m looking forward to the dinner party :o))
