    Tina’s plan is in full affect and Bette is none the wiser about it.

     

     Bette idled away the morning waiting for Tina to come back. She was hoping to spend the last couple days together. Not setting around alone while Tina went shopping. What was she doing that was taking so long? Oh Lord, I sound like a whining child, she thought to herself. Whatever it is, she has good reason for doing it. So Bette puttered around the villa and made good use of her time instead of pouting.

     

     After Tina hung up from Kit, she called Maria. She need some help with the first part of the plan and she knew Maria was the woman to help her. She was happy to help in any way she could. So they plotted their little scheme for later that evening.

     

     It was now around seven o’clock and Tina couldn’t hold out any longer. She needed to get Bette away from the villa soon. Anthony and Maria were like little elves waiting in the wings for the go ahead.

     

    “Where are we going may I ask, Bette questioned?

     

    “I just thought it might be nice to go out for awhile, Tina replied. No place in particular baby, can we just go out?”

     

     “Well if there is no place in particular, can’t we just stay in?” Bette said kissing Tina’s lips playfully.

     

    “Don’t be such a drag.” Tina took her hand and walked her towards the door.

     

    “Drag, who says drag these days?” Bette was repeating it all the way to the car.

     

    “You can stop anytime,” Tina said laughing. “You’re getting on my nerves.” She laughed even harder.

     

     “Well, I’m getting on your nerves, damn woman I can’t win.”

     

     Tina leaned across the seat and kissed her. “Let go have some fun. I could use a little fun right now, can’t you?”

     

    “Sure, let’s go have fun. It’s been way too long. So whatever you want baby.”

     

     They got into town and drove around looking for some place to eat. Finally they found a nice little bistro that sat near the water. The atmosphere was warm and Tina raved on about how it reminded her of Luigi’s. 

     

    “I’ll be so happy when we get home,” Bette said sipping her Marsala. “It has been too long. I’m feeling so much better and I hope the doctor gives me the approval to fly on Friday.”
