Dr. Wilson: Yes… tonight that would be a good thing… see you soon…
Linda: Tina… why did you say you wouldn’t work up a sweat…
Tina whispers to her mother… and the look on Linda’s face said it all… Bette looked over at Linda and now all three burst out laughing… Tina grabbed her stomach… now she was not laughing… at the same time Helena came and got Bette…
Linda: Tina…
Tina: Mom… please be quiet… its only 2 more hours at the least…
Linda: Are you having contractions…
Tina: I thought I did about an hour ago… but nothing since then… but now just laughing.. I don’t know… so please cover for me… Bette has to get through this night…
Linda: Ok… but I’m not leaving you for a second…
Tina: I have to pee… let’s go…
In the bathroom in Bette’s office… Linda is right there…
Tina: I guess you weren’t kidding…
Linda: I can get Bette if you want…
Tina: Close the door…
Linda: Are you bleeding…
Tina: No… Thank God… please baby just a few more hours…
Linda: Tina when the baby is ready… trust me there is no stopping him or her… and you also know Bette will not be to happy if you don’t tell her what’s going on…
Tina: Mom I intend to tell her… its just I wanted to get this night over with… and I have only had 2 contractions… and the last one was well over an hour ago… if it even was a contraction…
They both made their way back to the table… Every one was eating and drinking… the wait staff was walking around with all kinds of interesting things to eat… Tina knew not to eat… that’s all she would have to do… Bette walked back over to check on her…
Bette: Tee… can I get you anything… some juice… some thing to eat… every thing smells delicious…
Tina: I’m good babe…
Bette: Tee you look a little different… (Sitting down next to her)… do you feel all right…

See, there you go again with the did we miss you! Hell yes! Great post as usual but to leave us on such a cliffy. You are a bad, bad woman.
First how could any of us forget a great writer such as yourself.I always miss this story when there are no posts for a while, I am glad Tina made it through the night. Ahe took a big risk any pregnancy is unpredictable the baby may come slow or very fast. They need to call Dr. Wilson so she can get there and birth that baby. Hope to read more soon.

welcome back. Totally understand and sympathize about the work thing; its a sad necessity. wish I had such a caring spouse when I was pregnant. as always a great chappie as we follow their lives. post when u can.
I love what Tina said when her water broke, “Happy Birthday”. She was lucky that so many people are right there for her. Pretty soon Bette and Tina are going to have a baby in their mist.

I had an ideal you were working to hard. In todays world,you need to work when you need to. Love this the baby on the way,and Bette seems pretty calm. Tina is always thinking of others. Glad that Tina mom is there to help Poor Bette. Post when you can. Its a busy bust world out there. thanks
