Tina: I’m tired… maybe I should have mom and dad take me home…
Bette: Give me 10 minutes and I’ll also take you home… Helena and James can finish up here…
Tina: Ok… 10 or 15 minutes more won’t be a problem…
Linda: I’ll have dad get the car… (She goes and tells him)…
Bette: OK I’ll be right back…
Tina: Mom I don’t feel well… help me up and get me to the car… and please don’t let anyone see us…
Linda motions for Kit to come over to also help… and Bette sees them by the door and walks over to them…
Tina: Bette I need to go home now…
Bette: I’m ready… Kit say goodbye to everyone for us…
Kit: Will do… call me if tonight is the night…
Bette just looks at Tina and she smiles…
Bette: OMG… you mean…
Tina: Let’s go Bette…
Bette: But Dr. Wilson is here… let me get her…
Tina: We have time before we need to call her…
Linda: Let’s get her home and undressed and her feet up…
Tina: Yeah… let’s go now…
They arrive at the house… a small contraction hit Tina but she didn’t say a word… walking into the house and into her bedroom… both Linda and Bette started to undress her… Bette placed her robe around her shoulders as she took off the rest of her clothes… and they laid her down on the bed…
Tina: Bette I have to tell you that I think I had 2 or 3 contractions tonight… but they were so far apart… but I also think I just had another one in the car…
Bette: What… why didn’t you tell me… we would have left a long time ago…
Tina: Bette they were little ones… trust me… if they weren’t… I would have let the whole room know… but now I have to pee… get me up…
Walking back from the bathroom… Tina stops and turns to go back… just as she reaches the bathroom again… she grabs Bette’s and Linda’s hands… they all look down… Tina was standing in a puddle…
Tina: HAPPY BIRTHDAY…

See, there you go again with the did we miss you! Hell yes! Great post as usual but to leave us on such a cliffy. You are a bad, bad woman.
First how could any of us forget a great writer such as yourself.I always miss this story when there are no posts for a while, I am glad Tina made it through the night. Ahe took a big risk any pregnancy is unpredictable the baby may come slow or very fast. They need to call Dr. Wilson so she can get there and birth that baby. Hope to read more soon.

welcome back. Totally understand and sympathize about the work thing; its a sad necessity. wish I had such a caring spouse when I was pregnant. as always a great chappie as we follow their lives. post when u can.
I love what Tina said when her water broke, “Happy Birthday”. She was lucky that so many people are right there for her. Pretty soon Bette and Tina are going to have a baby in their mist.

I had an ideal you were working to hard. In todays world,you need to work when you need to. Love this the baby on the way,and Bette seems pretty calm. Tina is always thinking of others. Glad that Tina mom is there to help Poor Bette. Post when you can. Its a busy bust world out there. thanks
