“Side by side love. Will you do something for me?” Bette asked as she was really getting into the grove and going with the flow.

“Absolutely.” Tina encouraged her to continue.

“While we are on this journey together I want us to feel the compassion and kindness this love has. Feel the support and respect this love gives. Feel the safety of our love. Do you feel safe T?”

“I feel very safe babe. I’ve never felt so safe in my whole life.” Tina answered honestly.

“Know that you are always safe with me T. I will protect you always.” Tina understood why Bette felt the need to say those things and Bette knew that Tina needed to hear them. However they wouldn’t dwell on it. This was a time to reflect on a brighter tomorrow and in that vein Bette and Tina continued with their promises of unconditional love, intimacy, sharing and growing together.

“Are you as turned on as I am?” Bette’s mind wandered as she visualized the eroticism of Tina’s unbridled declarations. Tina laughed out loud breaking the seriousness of the mood.
