Bette Porter… I Was Too Blind To See… When You Belonged To Me… You Were My Everything!

    Wednesday 19 November.

7.38 a.m. Head feels like been crushed in vice. Scary flashback of last night’s event pops in to brain, oh my god, am never going to drink Johnny again, seems to turn oneself in to blubbering idiot. Damn you Johnny. Am, strong Adonis type person, not suppose to make spectacle of oneself, and let people see vulnerable side.

7.39 a.m. Have decided not to go in to work. Will work from home, well from bed, body, does not seem, to want to move from horizontal position, can’t think why.

7.40 a.m. Reverted once again to pillow sniffing and even started stroking it like it was dog. Am either seriously turning in to demented, sentimental fool or actually am still drunk, and do think, it’s dog.

7.52 a.m. Can actually feel sick coming up in throat, as it goes in to spasms from coughing. Telephone. Please don’t let it be Franklin.

” Hello. Oh god James, thank god it’s you. Yeah I thought it was gonna be Franklin breathing down my neck. Listen I need, you, to e-mail me last years Peabody, grant application, yeah I’m completely stuck. Okay, all right great, thanks. No I’m not coming in today, I’m working, from home. Yeah I need to get this grant proposal finished. All right, thanks.”

10.12 a.m. Have decided to go to Planet for spot of lunch in order to recharge batteries. Feel a lot better for lay in bed. Hangover surely has gone by now.

10.13 a.m.  Think, will, open blinds. Fuckkkkkkkkkkkkkk! Was premature to think that hangover was gone. Surely is not right for sun to be so bloody bright this early in morning.  I hate California weather right now!

12.32 p.m. Arrived at Planet. Oh goody, Alice is sat at counter. Am doomed or cursed, whatever.

12.33 p.m. Better make conversation just, to be polite.

    “Hey, what’s up?”

    “Hey.”

    So far so good.

“I’m glad I ran in to you.”

Oh yeah. Why is that Alice?

“I wanted to ask if you could be out of the house for a couple of hours tonight.”

Knew there was an ulterior motive.
