Shane took another spoonful of her cereal into her mouth; she looked around the coffeehouse of the hotel, getting a few looks from people who recognize her face. She faced the two people in her life that’s been keeping her days sanely balanced. Lily and Ed; they were eating their normal morning breakfast food, talking about the Oprah Special next week.

Ed and Lily couldn’t wait for tonight’s event, The Charity Fundraiser that is being held at Helena’s house or… mansion. Ed couldn’t wait to check out the clothes and the guys there and lily couldn’t wait to see her auntie Helena.

“I don’t get what is so great about Oprah…” Shane butted into the conversation between Ed and lily. Both of them snapped their head at Shane with and open mouth and startled eyes. “Forget I ever asked that question.” Shane said, putting up her hands in defense almost letting out a little laugh.

“Mum… do you think I could get a new pair of shoes for tonight?” Lily asked Shane, who looked at Ed knowing that it was his idea.

“Honey… you don’t need new pair of shoes… you’ve got tons of em’…and I thought you already picked everything out for tonight…” Shane said, putting the spoon that she is holding into the empty bowl.

“Well I have… I just thought that I would get a new one for tonight…please mum…” lily said plead fully to her mother. “Fine… do you know what kind of shoes you want?” Shane can’t really say no to her daughter.

“Well… uhm… Ed showed me these shoes in Vogue; it’s the new Little Marc line by Marc Jacobs…” Lily went on until her mum cut in. “Marc Jacobs?! Lil… when I was four I probably didn’t have any shoes…” Shane added in. “But mum… these ones are really nice and it would go really well with my dress…” Lily said, while flipping the page of the magazine and gave it to her mother to have a look. Shane took her glasses that she puts on the collar of her t-shirt and had a good look at the shoes that Lily’s talking about.
