Shane opened her eyes slowly with her a big smile on her face. She stretched her long and lean body taking space nearly the whole king size bed. She looked at her side watching her daughter sleeping beautifully.

Yesterdays’ meeting with Alice was somewhat… nice… pretty good… it was a bit of a challenge for Shane to have a smooth conversation to a hot looking girl like Alice. Don’t get me wrong…  Shane of course is still Shane the smooth operator, she’s just haven’t been in the scene for a long while… like ten years or so. When she travels meeting with celebrities, royalties, socialites and just normal everyday people… she charms the heck out of them, but when it comes to Alice… she’s a bit… whipped?

Her cell phone went off, causing her to take her gaze of her daughter and answer the phone. Seeing the caller ID, it’s not who she wished it would be.

Shane: Hey old chap… what’s up? Shane said to her friend Helena who’s on the other line.

Helena: Well… alright I guess… since you’re back in L.A… do you want to have lunch with me? Helena said, sounding a bit lonely.

Shane: Uhm… well… I would love to H… but I’ve got plans already… shit she’s probably having a hard time…you know what… why don’t you join us…

Helena: Are you sure?… I wouldn’t want to interrupt anything…

Shane: Hell no man… c’mon you can talk to Bette about you know… work and stuff… since you guys always have something to discuss… and by the way how do you know where I’m always at… it’s kinda scary dude… Shane said through the phone, lowering her voice not wanting to wake her daughter up.

Helena: “I know everything Shane… well… I guess I could join you… we are planning to do some sort of a joining charity fundraiser with the CAC and the Peabody Corporation…” Helena started to ramble.

Shane: That’s great!… I’ll see you at 2.00pm… the planet…” Shane said. “Hey I got to go… I’ve got an incoming call…

Helena: Alright… see you then love….oh and uhm, your wifey is on the front page of my tabloid magazine ‘Stars’ ok bye! Helena said quickly and hung up her cell.
