    Blood Soaked Sheets Part 6

Alice kept thinking about all the horrible things that could’ve happened. She wasn’t in the best frame of mind when she left. What if she did something stupid. What if she got in an accident. I should call Bette, Tina and Shane. They should know that something is wrong.

Alice pulled out her cell phone and called Tina.

    Tina: Hello?

    Alice: Hey T, it’s Al.

Tina: Hey whats up? Did you find her?

Alice: Kinda. I got a phone call from some nurse saying that Dana asked her to call me. She’s at Cedars. I don’t know what is going on yet but I would really appreciate it if you guys were there.

Tina: Yeah no problem. We’ll be there soon. Are you going to be okay?

Alice: I’ll be fine as soon as I find out what is going on.

    Tina: Okay stay safe Al.

    Alice: Bye.

Alice hung up and parked her car in a no parking zone. She didn’t care if it was towed she needed to know what was happening with her friend, her girlfriend, her lover.

    Alice ran to reception area.

Alice: Hi my name is Alice Pieski (I know that is not it)I got a phone call that my friend Dana Fairbanks was here.

Nurse: Yes I was the one that called you.

Alice turned around to see a woman in her mid 20′s. Alice walked over to her.

Alice: Where is she? Is she okay? Whats going on?

Nurse: Well first of all my name is Mary Lynn and I was the person that treated Dana when she came in.

Alice: So she came in herself? She wasn’t in an accident?

Mary Lynn: She cme in under her own power but she was kinda out of it when she came in.

    Alice: What do you mean?

Mary Lynn: She was staring off into space, she asked for help. Showed me her arms and didn’t say anything. WHile I was cleaning her cuts she kept saying to call Alice. She really cares for you.

    Alice: Can I see her?

Just as Mary Lynn was going to answer Tina, Bette and Shane entered and ran towards her asking a bunch of questions.

Alice:I don’t know much I jsut got here a little bit ago and only know what Mary Lynn has told me. I was asking if I could go see her before you guys came in.

Mary Lynn: Yeah go right ahead. She is in room 222. ONly one person at a time.

They all looked at each other thinking the same thing.

    Tina: Al go ahead.

    Alice: Thanx guys.

Alice walked towards her room and entered to find Dana curled up in a ball on one of the beds. Dana looked so weak and vulnerable.

    Alice: Dana?

Dana turned around and saw Alice. They both had tears in there eyes. Dana jumped off of the bed and they both ran towards each other and embrassed.

Dana: I’m so sorry I ran off. I couldn’t face everyone. Not then, not like that. I never ment to run away from you. I asked you not to leave and then I do just that.

Alice: It’s fine. I’m jsut so glad that you are okay.

Dana: Well, I knew that I had to get my arms cleaned up so I came here.

Alice: You’re so smart. I’m glad that you are better now.

    Dana: Al…there’s bad news.

Alice and Dana released each other from there embrace and looked at each other.

    Alice: What do you mean?

Dana: I was smart by coming here to get cleaned up but I was dumb because they have some policy…

Alice: Dana what are you saying?

Dana: I have to stay…I have to stay at the hospital.
