    Boiling Over

“I’m sorry but I cannot spend the rest of my life unhappy.”

“You’re a fucking bitch, why would you say that to me? I could have made you happy, but you’re not letting me, let me make you happy, please,” she pleaded. I had to fight every instinct to say OK and keep on trying, but I knew deep down that was the worst possible decision.

“I’m sorry Sarah, but it’s not as simple as that. There are a lot of things that is contributing to my unhappiness.”

    “What else?”

“The fact that you’ve put a timeline on me for kids. The fact that there are so many hoops to jump through for me to get there. I am not ready to be a mother, and I certainly am not in the place in my life to get married.”

“We didn’t have to get married now. We can wait.”

“No, you’ve made it quite clear you wanted to be married before having more kids. And unlike you, I don’t care how old I am when I do have kids. You’re putting me on a time limit of three years to buy a ring, plan a wedding, get married, and choose a donor and the long process of actually getting pregnant.”

“Fuck you. I can’t believe you are throwing that in my face.”

“It’s true, back in July you said you didn’t even want children anymore. I literally almost dumped you then. But I was a fucking coward.”

“Don’t you blame this shit on me.”

“You knew what I wanted from the beginning.”

“Well, I’m sorry that Rose and I aren’t good enough for you.”

“No, don’t do that. You won’t guilt me into changing my mind. It’s done.”

“Fuck you Bette, you’re a heartless fucking bitch.”

“Heartless? Me? That’s laughable! You’ve got me so whipped, I cannot even hang out with my friends without you getting mad. It’s like my world is you and Rose only and fuck everyone else. I have never, ever blown you off for them. But you expect me to cancel my plans because you said so. No. Fuck you. You’re just selfish and want me to be miserable.”

“Fuck you. FUCK YOU!! You’re the fucking worst. Don’t you even think about coming over here.”

    1. Oh my god, that must have been terrible for you back then.

It is always difficult to end a relationship but i am glad that in my cases it wasn’t that horrible.

Thanks for sharing this with us.

    2. It is best to end a relationship that is no longer working only
to maintain a lie, pretending to be happy is the worst thing to do with yourself and the other person. One should not lie to boast a feeling
that never existed … Both parties suffer for it … sooner or later …
You did it right, try to be happy.
      The complete constellation.
