"i love you"her voice like velvet in my ear.. and like the first time she said it i feel goosebumps..

"i love you too…"I say lifting my head up to look her in the eyes, then I lean in and brushing my lips against hers.. i can feel her fingers as they bunch the hair at the back of my head… pulling me closer.. deepening the kiss..

But as expected it didn’t last and i laughed breaking the heated kiss when i felt Shay tugging at my arm.. this kid has the worst timing.. i peck at her lips one last time before turning slightly towards my brother.. god he reminds me so much of myself.. honestly i shouldn’t be able to pick him up but he’s still kinda small for his age and he weighs nothing.. so as usual i lift him up, ruffling his hair.. he smiles and looks towards Carmen..

And just like that it hits me… i need to call Alice..

Its now 3 in the afternoon and i sitting alone in the kitchen starring at the ring in my hand.. Carmen and Shay went to the mall about an hour ago.. something about cloths and shoes.. i wasn’t really paying attention.. not since this morning.. since the idea popped in my head.. god wheres Alice.. she should have been here by now..

The ring isn’t really flashy and i doesn’t look like much but i know Carmen will love it.. i had it re-sized before the whole fiasco in Canada.. it was the only thing my mother ever gave to me.. and soon i hope to give it to Carmen.. the last time i proposed it wasn’t planned and i wasn’t in the best state of mind..

At first i did it because i was afraid of losing her, but after asking her.. i realized it was something i really wanted.. 5 years ago if you had asked me if i would ever want to be married and have a family.. id probably have laughed in your face and asked you what drugs you were on.. cuz id want some…

Its funny really.. my life.. one minute I’m telling Alice i don’t do relationships and shes going off on some rant about a code i apparantly follow.. then that same fucking day i met the women of my dreams.. sure i fought it.. but the more i saw her the harder i fell.. and i don’t think id have it any other way…

The sound of the front door slamming shut pulls me from my thoughts.. and i turn expecting to see Alice but I’m surprised to see the entire framily.. i shouldn’t be but i am.. alice is in front.. the ring leader… god i love these women.. apparently Alice felt i was gonna need a little more help.. and she’d be right.. this has to be perfect..

"so Yoda.. whats the plan.."Alice asked.. the smile on her face is mirrored on all of their faces..
