    Broken Voyagers

Bette closed the door but did not move further into the room. Tina, on the other hand, went straight over to the familiar writing box situated on a low table by some soft seat in one of the corners of the room.

“Where did you find this new information?” There was a certain excitement in Tina’s voice as she sat down on the sofa.

Bette walked slowly over to her. “I thought it best to leave it exactly where we found the scrolls, lest it be misappropriated again.”

Tina looked at her girlfriend as the brunette took a seat by her side.

    “You mean?”

Bette nodded. “You know the box’s secrets. Go ahead.”

Tina hesitated, at first trying to remember the gestures Bette had made all these weeks ago.

Bette nervously looked on as Tina performed the careful steps to get to the heart of the box, once or twice repositioning the hesitant fingers with quiet directions.

“You are trembling, Bette.” Tina remarked as the brunette’s fingers covered hers to carefully guide. “Are you okay?”

Bette laughed nervously. “Nervous expectation, I guess. Whatever is in there may require some commitment time.”

Tina turned to face the brunette. “We are a team, Bette.”

    Bette swallowed visibly.

“Here goes,” Tina announced as she readied herself to pull at the little hidden compartments below the pen tray.

They slid out effortlessly, just as they had the first time, Tina had discovered them, revealing a little treasure chest shaped wooden box.

“How did we miss this the first time around?” Tina exclaimed a frown forming on her brow. Her head then whipped round to look at the brunette.

Bette had a tentative smile etched on her lips. “Open it.”

It was Tina’s turn to tremble slightly. Her fingers dipped in the little compartment retrieving the object.

    “Bette.” She whispered.

“Open it, baby.” The brunette repeated.

Hazel eyes looked at brown orbs, a moment passing between them. Tina looked away again to concentrate on opening the little box.

There was an audible gasp, when the content was revealed.

“I want everyday to be an adventure with you Tina,” Bette started quietly as she watched Tina expression change from surprise to disbelief to happiness, “We are a team, you complete me. You are a treasure amongst all treasu…”

    “Yes, Bette!” Tina interrupted, “Yes.”

Bette laughed at the energy with which Tina had replied to the question she had not asked yet.

Tanned hands grabbed gently onto paler ones. “Can I ask first?” Bette asked softly.

    Tina nodded impatiently.

“Tina,” Bette paused for effect, “Will you marry me?”

The blonde did not hesitate this time, throwing herself forward onto a surprised Bette, joining their lips together after murmuring, “I love you and yes.”

    2. Hi, Kins

Oh my God, Kins, welcome back, after almost 2 years, it’s been a long time, but reading the whole story now I feel, the wait was worth.

You have given us a quite wonderful and interesting story full of adventures and riddles and full of love of my favorite couple Bette and Tina.

You ended the story in a very good way, but I feel as if I want to know more about them, if Bette gets the funding for her project in Mexico, the wedding, their partnership, what Tina does for a job… and many more things.

I hope we could read more new beautiful stories from you; I like very much your style.
Thank you very much and please, post other TIBETTE stories

    3. Ok, i read again this story, this time the whole and i’m ready to leave another comment.

First – thank you again for finish the story.

Second – happy to see happy final -treasure was found, bitch Kelly got lost. And i must say i like how you got rid from her – like in life we can say with 100% probability what happened – or she sank or she was killed by shark.

Third – i like how you described Bette and Tina and love between them. I like it in all your stories (maybe with one exception – in Frozen beginnings i don’t like your Bette during the story, but in final she corrected :) )

So, welcome back and maybe in the future we can see another great story from you? I really hope so.

    4. Hi Kins,
Really enjoyed the read, thank you so much.
A great Story and I loved reading it in one post. As an English Lady I really enjoyed your explanation of Cricket!
I would love it if you would now consider a Sequel with these two characters.
      Thanks again for posting.
