Upon rising early on Monday morning Tina turned towards the sleeping beauty sharing her bed and placed a tender kiss on her lips. Bette didn’t wake up but acknowledged Tina’s touch with a smile and moaned softly as she hugged the pillow. Her girlfriend was so damned sexy even in her sleep Tina thought as a moan escaped her own lips when she forced herself to get up. She was overjoyed that they’d worked things out during their time at the cabin, and excited for their future. Given the few precious moments they would have alone with a baby on the way Tina was tempted to spend the next hour in bed curled up with her girlfriend instead of going for her five mile run but she needed the exercise. Not only did she run to stay in shape it was also her ‘me’ time and she didn’t want to start compromising on that. She was committed to making it work but as she’d told Bette at the cabin she valued her autonomy.

She changed into her running gear, grabbed her phone, earbuds, keys and a bottle of water. She didn’t expect Bette to wake up before she got back but left a note just in case. Surprisingly her girlfriend was not only up she was freshly showered and dressed in a terry cloth bathrobe combing out her wet hair when Tina entered the bathroom. “Good morning babe. I didn’t expect you to be up already. It’s still early.”

“I know but I didn’t feel much like staying in bed when I didn’t feel you beside me. Did you have a good run?” Bette asked leaning in for a kiss.

“I did. As tempting as it was to stay in bed and cuddle with you I need this time to myself. Running clears my head, gets my juices flowing and keeps me in shape.”

“I can think of other ways to get your juices flowing.” Bette put down her comb and pulled Tina into her “… and you are in perfect shape.” Bette caressed Tina’s ass through her silk shorts to make her point.

“Babe I’m all sweaty and stinky.” Tina said a bit self-conscious.

“I don’t care. I like you all sweaty and stinky.” Bette answered pulling her closer.
