CHAPTER 2
ALICE POV
Wow, I cant believe this is happening. Carmen Del Pica Morales is in Los Angeles as we speak. Shes been gone for 2 1/2 years without a trace, and now shes here to grace us with her presence. Im wondering does she still have mad love for Shane or does she has someone in her life. I have to make a mental note to ask her when we go out together. Oh my God, Shane turned white as a ghost. Ive never seen Shane that nervous in all my gay life. I know im making a trip to the gym because Carmen was all toned and nicely shaped. Maybe i should call a butt doctor and get my butt a little bigger. Im also thinking what could be going through Shane’s head right now. One thing i do know, Shane didnt run over here and hug and kiss Carmen. Hmmm…Im going to give Ms. Carmen a call tomorrow.
TINA POV
Shane is really scaring me right now. Ive never seen anyone turn that white before and so quickly. Shane must still be really in love with Carmen. I know how she feels because, Bette takes my breath away every time she enters a room. Why cant love be so easy and why does it has to be so damn hard sometimes? I feel sorry for shane because she is always sleeping with random girls, hoping to get Carmen out of her head. Maybe she does it to try to find that one girl that can complete her like Carmen had done. If you ask me, it will never work. Ive slept with Helena, Henry and Kate but noone will ever compare to the love that Bette and I once shared. Bette has my heart and she doesnt even know it. Thank God, Shane’s color has finally came back. I wonder what Alice is saying to Carmen over there.
SHANE POV
There she is my sexy and beautiful goddess. Oh, how I ache when her presence is in the room. The yellow halter jumpsuit she is wearing, really shows off her perfectly shaped breast. Her tan on her skin and the curves of her body makes me melt like a chocolate candy bar. Why did I fuck up such a good relationship with her…why?!!!! I loved Carmen more than my own damn life. What am I saying, I still love her will all my heart and soul. I wonder if shes seeing someone. Well, of course she is who would let that get away. Oh yeah, me…Im the jackass that let the best thing that ever happened to me get away. Alice better not be over there saying something stupid. If I ever got the chance to be with Carmen again, Im never letting her go. I swear on my life she will be the 1st thing I see in the morning, and the last thing I see at night. Im hoping shes here in LA for awhile, maybe I can finally get the nerve and go talk to her. There she goes out the door…bye my sweet love.
Alice walks back over to the table where Shane and Tina are sitting.
ALICE: Wow, doesnt Carmen look amazing.
TINA: Yes, she does…How long is she staying or did you ask?
ALICE: (Looking at Shane) She’ll be here for 1 week, because her mother is in the hospital.
TINA: Is her mother okay?
ALICE: She said her mom is doing better…Hey Shaney, maybe you can get the nerve and finally talk to her.
SHANE: (Looking Mad at Alice) What did you say to her Alice?!!
ALICE: (Defensively) I didnt say anything about anyone. I didnt even mention your name or the fact that you were over here sitting at the table.
SHANE: (Standing up) So help me God, Alice if you said something…You will regret it for the rest of your life!!!!
ALICE: I didnt Shane, I swear on my chart….Cross my heart, hope to die..stick a needle in my eye, swear.
TINA: (Laughing) Okkkkk Alice, we get the point and we believe you….Hey guys I have to leave but Ill call you later.
SHANE: I have to leave also, I have a client in about 1/2 hour. Talk to you both later.
ALICE: Bye you 2 and oh, by the way Shane. I didnt see you coming over there hugging and kissing Carmen, like you said you would do. (Laughing)
SHANE: (Flicks middle finger up ) Fuck you, Al (Walks away laughing)
