Alice is sitting at her apartment, typing ino her laptop. She is trying trying to figure out a new topic for her on air show.

ALICE:  What can I talk about tomorrow?  Hmmm, I know…Would anyone have sex with Hilary Clinton and Where’s Monica Lewinsky now? I like this topic already. Hey, maybe Ill should give Carmen a call. (Alice dials Carmen)

CARMEN:  Hello

ALICE:   Hey Carmen, its me Alice.

CARMEN:  Hi Alice, Whats up?

ALICE:  Are you busy, if so I could always call back later.

CARMEN:  Noooo..Im not busy, whats on your mind.

ALICE:  I was wondering are you doing anything this evening.

CARMEN:  (Thinking)  No, nothing I can think right now….Im seeing my mother, but after 6pm..Im free.

ALICE:  Good, do you want to meet me for dinner. I was figuring we could go to that japanese resturant, we all used to go to.

CARMEN:  Is that still located on Hollywood Blvd?

ALICE:  Yes…..Do you remember how to get there, or do you need me to pick you up.

CARMEN:  Nooo  I remember…Let’s say I meet you around 7pm.

ALICE:  That will be great, Ill call and make reservations…See you at 7pm.

CARMEN:  Okay..Bye.

AT THE JAPANESE RESTURANT

ALICE:  Soooo…Carmen, how’s things in the Djing business.

CARMEN:  Its good, Al.  Im getting alot of exposure.  The money is great, and i’ve done a couple parties for some big celebrities.

ALICE: Which celebrites? Do tell all, Carmen.

CARMEN:  (Laughing)  Hmmm…Ive done parties for P.Diddy, Jay-Z, Usher, and JaRule.

ALICE:  Did you go to the parties alone to DJ?

CARMEN:  (Looking perplexed)  What do you mean Alice, did I go alone?

ALICE:  (Taking a sip of her Cosmo)  Did you take someone likeeee a girlfriend?

CARMEN:  (Laughing)  A girlfriend? Alice, do you want to know if im seeing someone?

ALICE:  Im not trying to pry in your business, but yes are you seeing someone.

CARMEN:  (Shaking her head)  Al, you will never change will you…To answer your question..No, Im not seing anyone, Alice.

ALICE:  Why not, Carmen?

CARMEN:  Well, Im concentrating on my work and trying to be the best that I can be.  I dont need any distractions, you know.

ALICE:  But all work and no play makes Carmen a dull girl.

CARMEN:  I didnt say I dont play…I just dont want noone steady right now.

ALICE:  Boy, you sound like someone I know.

CARMEN: (Looking at Alice)  Who do I sound like Alice?

ALICE:  You sound like Shane. She just be with random girls and dont want any committment, since you two broke up.

CARMEN:  (Looking sad)  Shane…Alice, how is she? Is she finally happy now?

ALICE:  Why dont you ask her for yourself?

CARMEN:  I cant right now, Al.

ALICE:  Carmen, I think you two need to talk. Its been 2 1/2 years and somethings need to be resolved.

CARMEN:  I know, but I still need more time Al.

ALICE:   Time?   Ummmm Carmen, its been2 1/2 years…What you need like 5 more years to finally talk?

CARMEN:   (Looking confused and sad)   I dont knoww..I just dont know, Al.

ALICE:   Well, somebody better do something because im tired of seeing Shane self destructing herself.
