CHAPTER 4
AT THE PLANET
Alice, Tina, Bette, Helena, and Jenny are sitting at their usual table at The Planet. They all are indulging in some political conversation.
ALICE: Im sick of all this presidential election mumble jumble. Hell, hurry up and elect somebody already. Everybody knows Hilary Clinton is going to win anyway.
BETTE: What makes you think that Alice. I think Obama has a good chance, too.
TINA: The Democrats will win this election, but they are trying to make people split the vote between Hilary and Obama.
BETTE: Yes, for the 1st time in history, you may have a woman president or the 1st black man as president.
ALICE: We need a woman, hell we cant do no more worse than the men have done.
JENNY: All in favor for a woman president…raise your hands. (The entire table of ladies raised ther hands)
HELENA: Okayyy, enough of this voting stuff…I heard Carmen is back in town.
ALICE: Yes she is, and we went out to dinner the other night. Do you know what she said?
BETTE: No Alice…We dont want to know what was said. Cant you keep things to yourself?
ALICE: Now Bette, thats like asking me to walk over hot coals. You know I cant do that…Anyway, she said
TINA: (Interrupting) Aliceeeeee, stop.
ALICE: Whyy..I was just going to say (Carmen walks towards the group of ladies)
BETTE: Well…Hello Carmen…Give me a hug. (Everyone stands up to hug Carmen)
CARMEN: Wow, I ve missed all of you. I heard you over by the counter, as I was placing an order.
TINA: Girl, you still look fabulous. Life is looking good on you, Carmen.
CARMEN: Thanks, Tina…Im just working alot and trying to hit the gym whenever I can.
HELENA: Are you here for long? We need to have a welcome home party for Carmen.
BETTE: That could be arranged, Helena…Let’s have a dinner party at my house. It been awhile since we all been together.
TINA: Good idea, Bette..When are you free, Carmen?
CARMEN: Im here until saturday morning, but you dont have to go to any trouble for me.
BETTE: Noooo it will be a blast, Carmen. Lets have it friday night at 7pm. Is that good for everyone? (All nod their heads in agreement)

i agree with jackiee1 i can see it happening but it is still hard to accept seeing them apart just doesnt feel right…but amazing chapter PPS
I totally picture this. carmen going nuts on shane. hell no one waould be calm after being left at the alter… the gang needs to do an intervention with carmen and shane afterall theyare friends with everyone
Yeah, guess we knew that was going to happen. They probably need to have it out a lot more than that though if they are ever going to get past it. PPS!
