Chapter 29
Alice, Jenny and Marina reached the Planet for a quick stop on their way home and were greeted at the door by a smiling Kit Porter.
“Ah, maniac alert… again.” Kit grinned and the new arrivals looked at her with shocked eyes. „You’re right on time, ladies… Help with the cleaning!”
Alice thought she had heard wrong. “Cleaning ? You mean to tell me… us…”
“Hah, gotcha, didn’t I ?” Kit bellowed. “Come in, you…. you…”
“Hey, stop it ! You encouraged us to take the glove thrown at us last night, so you’re at least partly responsible for the party getting out of hand.” Marina told her.
“She’s right and you know it, Kit.” Jenny now backed Marina up and got a dazzling smile for it.
My, she sure has changed ! Jenny thought.
Marina on the other hand was pleased to note, that Jenny was on her side. Looks like I still have a chance after all ! She thought and remembered waking up with Jenny in her arms. She smiled gently at that and Kit and Alice exchanged a knowing look.
Once they were seated at the family table, silence reigned. Each of them got their bearings and remembered last nights drinking contest. It sure had been a hilarious affair and suddenly they looked at each other and grinned.
“That was a great party, folks.” Kit contributed her thoughts first.
“Well, I don’t know, Kit. Waking up today wasn’t that much fun for me.” Alice grimaced.
“Hmmm… I don’t know, Al, it was fun to see your face first thing in the morning.” Jenny jested her friend.
Marina held back a laugh and Kit watched them with a big questionmark in her eyes. “Ahem… would you please repeat that ? I thought I heard…”
“You heard right, Kit.” Marina couldn’t hold back now and laughed out loud.
After looking into the three smiling faces, Kit got an incling that there was another maniac tale to be told.
And she got it !

Shane had strapped Angelica into the baby seat and was finally on her way back to Bette’s house. The little one was talking up a storm and she had an eerie feeling of being in this situation before. Then she recounted the last day and her brain settled on the drive home from the clinic.

Its good to have you back…Angie will love Blue…kids definitely love pets….as long as she doesnt try to dress him…or maybe she should, it could be funny…pps

Hello kijuma, I am so very happy to see this story back, I do hope that you might consider continuing, it has always been one of my favs :P. I love how you have all these interconnecting stories going around, April is such a great addition to the group, and she is definitely someone that Shane needed in her life. I love Blue, he reminds me of my kitties they are so full of mischief and laughs, can’t wait for the brother to come and help wreck havoc… hehe… Wow… I love it… Sincerely, JC

This was a wonderful surprise, I really missed this story very much. You’re Bette and Helena are the perfect couple and you portray them with so much dept and feeling. Who could not love Blue, the little heartbreaker, he and Angie will do perfectly I’m sure of that. Please don’t wait 9 months anymore to post the next chapter, you’re a much to good writer to keep silent for that long.
O;Lord you just wrote for the biggest cat lover. We have just gotten[not by choice] 9 babies, and three mother that sleeps under our deck. If we ever catch them to the vet the Mommies will go. They really eat a lot. I love these woman together. Blue won my heart tho. thanks
