    Tina: “Thanks Bette.” Bette left Tina and drive to the house. Her mom and Alice is outside on the patio, sipping a drink and relax. Bette: “Hey Mom, hallo Alice, nice to see you guys in my house……..” Maxine: “Hey darling are you sarcastic?” Bette: “Well yes mom, I am. What are you guys doing

    Tina: “Thanks Bette.”

    Bette left Tina and drive to the house. Her mom and Alice is outside on the patio, sipping a drink and relax.

    Bette: “Hey Mom, hallo Alice, nice to see you guys in my house……..”

    Maxine: “Hey darling are you sarcastic?”

    Bette: “Well yes mom, I am. What are you guys doing here?”

    Alice: “Well hallo BP I’m here to invite you to a night in the town. Me, Dane and Shane is going to have some fun. Why don’t you join us?”

    Bette: “Well thankyou Alice but no thank you. I’m just going to stay in, get early in bed and relax.”

    Alice: “You are a party pooper, you know that. But fine I’m out of here…. O by the way, who is the blond in the guest house?”

    Bette: “She is here on business. James didn’t book her a hotel room, so she is staying in the guest house for the time.”

    Alice: “Well why don’t I go and ask her if she wants to come with me.”

    Bette: “No Alice.”

    Alice: “Jeez relax Bette, I’m just joking…… Are you sure it is a work associate? Or is it the new lady in Bette Porter’s life?”

    Bette: “Alice please just go.”

    Alice: “Ok, ok bye for now.”

    She turns around and left the house, my mom just looks at me……

    Maxine: “Do you want to tell me what is going on?”

    Bette: “Nothing mom, just drop it.”

    Maxine: “O come on Bette, I know you better than you know yourself. Who is the girl in your guest house?”

    Bette: “Please mom, you have to promise me to tell no one. Please mom.”

    Maxine: “I promise.”

    Bette: “It is Tina mom, she came to see Doc Harvey, and end up with me. And I don’t know what to do.”

    Maxine: “I thought she died in a car accident.”

    Bette: “Well me too, but no she is here in New York with her daughter and as beautiful as always.”

    Maxine: “Wow this is amazing, is she sick?”

    Bette: “No she is fine, but her daughter Ella is sick, she’s got a brain tumour, and needs an operation ASAP.”

    Maxine: “And are you going to do the operation?”

    Bette: “Yes mom I need to do this operation, I owe her that much, I treat her like shit, all those years ago, and I need to make it up to her. I love her mom, I still love her.”

    1. I am speechless! Not sure why, but i like the beginning of this story.

      They were young 8 years ago and not talking , what seems to be always their problem.
      I for sure question Alice motive for her rol in their break up.

      I would love to read more.

    2. This story is becoming very interesting, I guess, 8 years ago Tina was a student in some medical career and probably acquaintance of Alice and Dana and of course Bette’s partner, sorry for speculating, but I are impatient for a shortly update.
