This was the greatest honor that Ms. Barnes could bestow on me as she is the reason I wanted to study art in the first place.”

    After the talk Bette walked around proudly with Tina Kennard her equally stunning wife and life-partner on her arm. Tina is now the Executive Director of the WEHO Youth & Family Center. A year after they got back together Bette and Tina decided to have another baby. Tina was inseminated with sperm donated by the same donor that fathered Angelica. He was a famous artist so they had little trouble tracking him down. This time Bette and Tina did it together and Bette experienced the entire process from conception to delivery alongside her partner. Their beautiful baby daughter Sophie was born with no complications.

    Through Tina’s work with underprivileged children she met Alexander and fell in love with him. When she introduced him to Bette and Angelica the feeling was shared. They became foster parents to the 9 year old, and are now awaiting the final adoption notice. When they look at Alex they can’t help but think of the baby boy they had lost to a miscarriage. Had he lived he would have been the same age.

    Tina knew that Bette would be tied up at the museum until after closing so they had arranged to drive separate cars. As the evening was coming to a close Tina made the rounds and said good-night to her friends asking everyone if they had seen Bette. She’d lost sight of Bette about a half-hour earlier and she wanted to let her know that she was leaving. Tina was anxious to get home to their children and she also wanted to prepare a special welcome home for Bette to celebrate this momentous occasion.

    Thinking Bette might be in her office, she went in that direction to find her. Before she entered the office area a sudden movement caught her attention and in a split second she felt herself being pulled into a loving embrace and searing kiss. They continue their make-out session for a few minutes then finally they come up for air.

BETTE had beauty,brains and a wife she loved,yet she threw all of that away for a mostly mechanical roll in the sheets.TINA, betrayed leaves and has a baby without BETTE.HELENA is finally given some redeeming qualities in this story(hard for me to write that).Co-parenting ANGELICA and returning to the dating scene bring BETTE into a relationship with JODI,never knew how their bedroom scenes played out but I sometimes wondered if BETTE had to use sign language to get JODI to ”don’t stop” or ”give me more”.Never liked her, period.To me she is as portrayed in here a full fledge loony toon.TINA and BETTE back where they never should have left ,in their house,with their kids and very much in love.AMAZING STORY from beginning to end.thanks

    3. Well here was I off to bed and decided to see if any favourite writers of mine might had posted.

      Now it is tomorrow and I am finally going to my slumber having experienced a feast of nostalgia – Thank You BAT for giving us this feast.

    5. Wow, i really enjoyed this story, but i have to say, you spoilt us with the other stories, those were so long and this one i read in a hour. But i am glad that you found it and posted it.

      Like dunnthat, i never liked Helena, but in this story i liked her. Jodi as Bette’s lover, i never made that connection, in the show there was never chemistry, one big mix-match.
