    “Well you do and we couldn’t love you more. I’m going to get going so you can finish up here. I’ll run a bath when you get home so we can relax.”

    “I’m looking forward to it. I’ll be home in an hour or so.”

    When Bette came home she was still on cloud nine from all the accolades she had received that evening. She walked through the house and stopped in each of the bedrooms to look in on the kids. They were all sleeping peacefully. She heads to the master bedroom already removing her clothes.
    Bette walks into the master bathroom and sees that Tina has lit aromatherapy candles and the soft music playing in the bedroom can be heard through the bathroom speakers. There are two celebratory glasses of champagne on the edge of the tub. The water temperature is perfect and bath is scented with aromatic essential oils. Bette removes the rest of her clothes and slips into the tub behind her wife. Tina leans back into Bette’s embrace.

    After that kiss on the dance floor over two years earlier neither had any doubt they were ready to reconnect as lovers. Without having to verbalize it each had come to the same conclusion. It was time for their hearts, minds, bodies, and souls to be reunited not only as family and friends but as forever lovers. There was much in their relationship that suffered damage after the breakup eight years earlier but they managed to forgive. All the detours over the previous six years had finally put them on the same path back to one another.

    “Welcome home babe.”

    Tina turned so she could pull Bette into a kiss then handed her a glass. They raise their champagne glasses in a toast and recite the inscription that they both wear on their new commitment rings.

BETTE had beauty,brains and a wife she loved,yet she threw all of that away for a mostly mechanical roll in the sheets.TINA, betrayed leaves and has a baby without BETTE.HELENA is finally given some redeeming qualities in this story(hard for me to write that).Co-parenting ANGELICA and returning to the dating scene bring BETTE into a relationship with JODI,never knew how their bedroom scenes played out but I sometimes wondered if BETTE had to use sign language to get JODI to ”don’t stop” or ”give me more”.Never liked her, period.To me she is as portrayed in here a full fledge loony toon.TINA and BETTE back where they never should have left ,in their house,with their kids and very much in love.AMAZING STORY from beginning to end.thanks

    3. Well here was I off to bed and decided to see if any favourite writers of mine might had posted.

      Now it is tomorrow and I am finally going to my slumber having experienced a feast of nostalgia – Thank You BAT for giving us this feast.

    5. Wow, i really enjoyed this story, but i have to say, you spoilt us with the other stories, those were so long and this one i read in a hour. But i am glad that you found it and posted it.

      Like dunnthat, i never liked Helena, but in this story i liked her. Jodi as Bette’s lover, i never made that connection, in the show there was never chemistry, one big mix-match.
