Chapter 14
(Tina) Mmmm, we really need to get moving
Tina continues to kiss her for another moment, and then draws back and smiles at her.
(Tina) I could do this all day but I think the fallout from Angie seeing us like this is probably worth avoiding
Bette takes a breath and looks back at her for a moment. She furrows her brow and nods.
(Bette) OK
A couple of days later, Tina is at home and answers a knock at the door. She makes her way to the front entrance and opens the door to Alice. Tina looks at her curiously, and Alice smiles and shrugs.
(Alice) I just wanted to check in with you, and see how you’re going
Tina smiles and nods, stepping back and gesturing for Alice to enter. They make their way to the kitchen together and Tina turns to her as they approach.
(Tina) Wine?
(Alice nods) Thanks
Alice sits down at the bench and looks to her.
(Alice) Is Angie here?
(Tina nods) Yes, she’s upstairs
Alice nods and then looks at her for a moment.
(Alice) So, how are you doing?
Tina looks over at her as she fetches two glasses from the cabinet.
(Tina) I’m OK Al. It was obviously a very difficult conversation, but it was the right decision. The only decision I could make really
Alice nods.
(Alice) Well I’m glad you’re feeling OK about Sarah, but I actually was more wanting to check in with you about Bette
Tina looks to her as she places a bottle of wine and the glasses on the bench.
(Alice) I mean, it’s obviously great that she’s back. But it’s got to be hard for you, with the time that you’ve spent together recently
Tina frowns, looking at her for a long moment.
(Tina) Sorry, what are you saying?
(Alice) That it must be hard for you that Bette’s memory has returned
Tina raises her eyebrows and they look at one another for a long moment. Alice takes in Tina’s surprised expression and frowns.
(Alice) You didn’t know?
(Tina) I didn’t know
They fall into silence for a moment, and Alice raises her eyebrows and shakes her head.
(Alice) I’m sorry. I wouldn’t have said that so casually, I just really thought she would have contacted you
Tina frowns as she returns her attention to the bottle of wine, pouring them both a glass.
(Tina) Well why would she?
She slides a glass over to Alice.
(Tina) She’ll be in contact when she wants to see Angie. And to resume our schedule I guess
Tina sits down opposite Alice and has a sip of wine.
(Tina) Have you seen much of her?
Alice shakes her head.
(Alice) No
Alice pauses and has a sip of wine.
(Alice) Come to think of it, I only saw her because I happened to drop in, so I guess she wasn’t planning to tell me either
Tina nods and looks to her wine.
(Alice) I haven’t seen her since, and she’s out of town now
Tina looks to her and Alice shrugs.
(Alice) She’s in New York. With Julia
Tina nods.
(Tina) Right
Tina has a sip of wine and Alice watches her closely. Tina puts her glass back down on the bench and looks over at her.
(Tina) It’s fine Al. I’m fine. This is hardly unexpected
(Alice) Yeah, but…
They share a sad look. Tina reaches over and squeezes her hand.
(Tina) Let’s talk about something else

Wow, I am wondering if Bette had her memory back when she visited Tina. I hope so. This chapter was sad for Tina.

Did Bette forget her new relationship with Tina? The waters are way too muddy. I can’t believe Bette would deceive Tina? PPS

A new chapter!!! Im grinning like an idiot here! HAHAHA anyway, did Bette’s memory return when she visited Tina??? Or was it after?? Arrgh regardless, im sure she’s breaking up with non existent Julia! ;)

Oh my….did Bette have her memory back when she stayed with Tina….we shall find out soon. If Bette is in NY with Julia I bet she’s breaking up with her. We just need Bette and Tina to meet up to see if Bette still has bad feelings towards Tina. Can’t wait for next chapters. Happy Writing.

I agree with Carol R.
Bette has to be in NY breaking up with Julia.
Let the fireworks begin.
