Chapter 8: Lesbiannicus – Reckoning
“I pray to the Gods your cunt becomes dryer than the back of our mother heels, “her words caused Dana to widen her smile.
Shane although not fully embracing the decision to enter into war was loyal to the task giving her word to complete the mission. In a matter of weeks, two beloved cities had been viciously attacked and overthrown. It was through Queen Lenore who maintained the stability and balance in their world and without her the world had gone mad. Receiving word Cordelia had been attacked weighed heavy upon her as part of her lineage laid with the city by the water. As a child she spent half her time in Lesbiannicus with her mother and Cordelia with her other mother. Her parents both free spirits loved each other but discovered early on as a couple they were more toxic together than apart. Committing to one another seemed like an impossible task so it was mutually decided they would raise their daughter apart in an attempt to give her the best of both worlds. Instead, she grew up with an abundance of half siblings and a warp sense of what it meant to love and to be loved. Following in her parents footsteps she laid with an abundance of women as it was easier to give away her body and not her heart. However, as fate would have it she crossed paths with two women who would question all she had ever known Carmen first and now Molly. With both her parents now deceased it was hard to rid her mind from the spoiled seeds planted.
Bette Porter. Their first meeting welcomed a difference in opinion as they both stubbornly disagreed upon in the matter to which Jennicus and her reign of terror should be handled. In her opinion she cared nothing of the reputation she held, she was arrogant, full of self, and irrational. She failed to understand why so many willingly followed her lead, as she was none to impress by the “Great Bette Porter.” She was a soldier, just like her pledging not only her loyalty but her life to the beloved queen. Their service in the royal army came during two different eras with her serving during more peaceful times and Bette during a time of war. Over the years she had earned quite a reputation for herself as an honorable and fearless soldier. Here she was in pursuit to provide additional aid to a woman she despised. She was an alpha female and so was Bette a commonality that was sure to make an interesting greeting once they met face to face once again.
