    Two of the guys exchanged a look and smirked at each other.  How hot is that? One of them cut into the conversation between Jules and his friend, asking Jules, “Better than one with a guy?” Okay, this was getting creepy.     One of them cut into the conversation between Jules and his friend, asking Jules, “Better than one with a guy?”

    Okay, this was getting creepy.

    Jules gave the group a non-committal smile, and walked towards the glass doors, pulling one open as she turned, and said, “Dude. It just doesn’t compare.  Girls are hot!”  With a slight wave goodbye she ducked out, and joined the flow of pedestrian traffic that was beginning to thicken.

    She shook her head slightly, kids, she thought.  She turned the corner to walk the few blocks remaining to reach her destination.

    Her phone rang a standard ring tone.  Hmmm…. whoever was calling wasn’t someone she’d set a ring tone to, she thought as she unzipped her side pocket to retrieve her phone.  She glanced at the number flashing as the phone rang.  “New York area phone number,” she thought as she thumbed the glass screen.

    “Hello?”

    “Jules?  Jules Thomson Mann?” a male voice asked.

    “Yeah.  Who is this?”

    “Thad.  We met during the beach party over at Logan’s over the weekend, and you gave me your business card, remember?  I’m the one who asked whether we could rent out your bar for a party?”

    “Oh, yeah! Hi there!” An image of the party came to mind, including the three shirtless guys with rock-hard abs in board shorts and flip-flops who’d raved about the music Jules had put on for Logan’s party.

    “Hi! Umm… is this a good time?”

    Jules checked her watch quickly.  She had about twenty minutes before she needed to start warming up before her Krav Maga class.

    “Yeah, sure,” she answered, as she looked in the direction of the cars driving down the street, before crossing the street.  She was a block away from the studio.

    “Great,” Thad said.  “So … as I said during the party, we were wondering whether we could rent the bar?   This morning we went over the events we were planning for a conference week, and we think a good time for this would either be June 18, which is a Wednesday night.  Or June 19,  Thursday night.  The party will be for a group of certain financiers that meets every now and again.  Mainly in big cities around the world. ”

      my scenarios, but I smell drama……

    3. I enjoy learning more about Jules and Diane. They are a nice addition to the Tibette story. I look forward to seeing more of these lovely ladies. And Krav Maga is totally hot! Who doesn’t love a beautiful woman who can kick ass?

    4. I think it would be a good idea of Tom being the donor, with bette eggs, but with Tina carrying the child.
      This was a good chapter as usual.

    5. If I am not mistaken, I read in the previous chapter that Bette and Tina did their homework in doing background checks on Tom, plus after meeting his family and having lunch with them I think solidify their decision.

      • Yes they did their background check. How is that they never found out about Tom’s family. Than for Bette to find out that Tom’s mother may have been an agent and a mathematical genius? Convienent for Bette to get those number deciphered.

    6. I like the idea of Tom’s sperm and Bette’s egg with Tina being the birth mom. That way the kid will still be bi-racial, and also gets some good Bette genes in there!
