    “What group?” “They basically dominate the gold market.” “Gold, huh?” Jules asked.  “Um …  I don’t have the schedule of events at the bar on me right now, but off-hand, I’d guess it would be alright.  And Wednesday would probably work out better.  Cuz we’re  planning a series of Throwback Thursday events all throughout June

    “What group?”

    “They basically dominate the gold market.”

    “Gold, huh?” Jules asked.  “Um …  I don’t have the schedule of events at the bar on me right now, but off-hand, I’d guess it would be alright.  And Wednesday would probably work out better.  Cuz we’re  planning a series of Throwback Thursday events all throughout June and July.”

    “Throwback Thursdays, huh?”  Thad asked.  “Sounds cool.”

    “Yeah,” Jules responded.  “My girlfriend’s idea.  We’re doing the ‘70s, ‘80s, ‘90s, etc.”

    “Neat,” Thad said, again.  After a short pause, he asked, “Maybe we should do a theme for our party, too?”

    Jules cocked her head to the side, and stopped walking as she finished off her latte’.  A glimmer of an idea was forming in her head.  “That sounds like a good idea.  What do you think you’d like to do?”

    Thad laughed.  “I have absolutely no idea.  Any suggestions?”

    Jules returned his laugh.  “Nope.  But I’ll tell you what.  I’ll check with a friend of mine who’s an event planner, and we can put some ideas together, bring them to you guys?”

    “Hmm… why don’t we do this: you put a package together, including the theme, the food, the music, etc., and we can talk again, agree on a price, etc?” he proposed.

    Jules nodded her head enthusiastically, “Sounds good.  Give me a few days, and we can talk through preliminary ideas.”

    “Great,” Thad exclaimed.  After another pause, he suggested, “How about we meet with John and Sam, the two other guys working with me, and who you met at Logan’s party?  Maybe in the Core  … you know it?”

    “Uh huh.”

    “Awesome … okay, we’ll meet you there for a drink on Friday.  Around 7?  At the bar?”

    “Fine with me,” Jules answered.  “Gives me a chance to talk things over with my partner, Brett.”

    “Brett … oh, does he have other bars and clubs in Manhattan ?”

    “Yeah.  You know him?”

    “Know of him.  So he’s your partner in this bar, huh?”

    “Yeah he is.”

    “I know his other bars.  Used to go a lot to the one in TribeCa.  But I think the one you and he have is way cooler.”

    Jules smiled to herself, and answered, “Thanks.”

    “No need to thank me.  Speaking the truth here.”

    After a pause he added, “Alright.  So let’s talk again on Friday.”

      Affair, assault which one I don’t know …… quite possible not either of
      my scenarios, but I smell drama……

    3. I enjoy learning more about Jules and Diane. They are a nice addition to the Tibette story. I look forward to seeing more of these lovely ladies. And Krav Maga is totally hot! Who doesn’t love a beautiful woman who can kick ass?

    4. I think it would be a good idea of Tom being the donor, with bette eggs, but with Tina carrying the child.
      This was a good chapter as usual.

    5. If I am not mistaken, I read in the previous chapter that Bette and Tina did their homework in doing background checks on Tom, plus after meeting his family and having lunch with them I think solidify their decision.

      • Yes they did their background check. How is that they never found out about Tom’s family. Than for Bette to find out that Tom’s mother may have been an agent and a mathematical genius? Convienent for Bette to get those number deciphered.

    6. I like the idea of Tom’s sperm and Bette’s egg with Tina being the birth mom. That way the kid will still be bi-racial, and also gets some good Bette genes in there!
