“Hey, I thought you had a game now?” I pull him into a hug; fuck his grown like three inches since I last saw him. His as tall as me and he’s not even fourteen yet.

“Uhm…no I don’t play until five, you’re coming right?” he has that look in his eyes like he almost expects me to say no.

“Of course I’m coming, and I’ll drag Syd there too. Did you really think I was going to miss the biggest game of my little brothers life?” he just shakes his head, fuck he looks like one of those guys in those really whiny bands. His hair swept to the side of his face, and I see his eyes in him. “So are you going to let me cut your hair or what?”

He swats my hand away and follows me inside; I didn’t even notice the others that were walking around. He just fixes his hair and sits on the couch waiting to tell me his life story.

The crowd of the planet making me wish that I hadn’t come… that it last night. Just me and her, before any of this happened. Before that kiss, when we were just talking telling stories about stupid things. Fuck that kiss, god I can’t get it out of my head, she is all that I can think of. The smell of her shirt making it worse, it feels like she right next to me. I stand in line waiting to get my coffee; Syd had run off as soon as we got in. I feel my mind drift to those dreams of her lips against my skin, her hands making there way down my body. To the warmth of her next to me, her arms wrapped around my waist, her faint kisses on my neck.

I can feel her right behind me, her hands sliding onto my stomach, pulling me into her. The way she rest her chin on my shoulder, but something not right. She’s holding on too tight, and her perfume is so strong that I can almost taste it.

“Did you miss me?” her voice making me jump, making me want to push her away. God how I wish it was her.
