    Dana and Alice finally talk.

    Alice walked out into the quiet night.  She glanced around to try and find the new statue and noticed Dana sitting on one of the patio chairs.  Dana smiled warmly and waved her over.  After a slight hesitation, Alice went and took the seat next to her.  She shifted nervously.

     

    “Jackie will be out in a minute.  There was a little mishap with of glass of merlot.”  They sat in silence for a moment.

     

    “How are your feet doing?”  Dana asked with a smile playing at the corners of her lips.

     

    Alice couldn’t help an answering smile.  “They hurt like all hell.” 

     

    She and Dana had still been together when Alice bought this particular pair of shoes.    Alice loved the shoes and Dana loved how she looked in the shoes.  But Alice told Dana at the time that she was worried the shoes may pinch too much at the toes.  Dana joked back to her that if she wore those shoes around her, she wouldn’t be on her feet much anyway.  But she also said in all seriousness that she did not want her buying the shoes if they hurt.  Alice didn’t buy them at the time, but, did pick them up a week later on sale.  The first time she wore them for a couple hours she couldn’t wear any heels afterwards for a week.  However, they both found out from that experience that Dana gave awesome foot rubs.

     

    Alice looked at Dana and said “It’s good to see you.  You look really good.  I mean…” she stammered “…you’re in great shape.”  Alice bit her lower lip and tried to compose herself.  “I saw your last match.  You had that girl on the ropes until that bad call by the chair guy.”  Alice waved her hand around to indicate that she didn’t care if chair guy had a real title or not.

     

    Dana was amazed that Alice not only watched her match but also stood up for her on that bad call.

     

    “Thanks.  I think I may be playing some of the best tennis of my life right now.”

     

    “If you do say so yourself…”  Alice added with another grin.

     

    Dana blushed.  They fell into a comfortable silence.

    1. Glad to see D being quite observant with A’s shoes and worrying about her feet and A thinking about D’s awesome foot rubs. Nice touch. D did well kick starting her communication with A again. You called it, cliffhangers and many more?! I love this one. Now would be all hell break loose. I can totally picture steaming coming out of J’s ears. Hopefully, D would stand up for A if J ever even raised her voice at A. Can’t wait. You are getting really good at this. Even though this is your 1st, you are doing an outstanding job. With more practice (hint hint) I am sure you will be joining all the elite Danish writers too. Congratulations!!! I am also happy to learn that there will be a few more updates before you leave.     2. MaGoose!!! I’m sorry I haven’t posted a comment in a while, I’ve been pretty busy last week but I’ve read the chapters that I’ve missed today and their awesome! You are really good at this, first time and all. I can’t wait to see what happens next. I’m sure it will bring trouble for them but I hope Dana doesn’t get scared and fight for what is truly hers. :) Thanks for updating, I hope to see one soon again. I’m sure I’ll miss your posts and I’ll be here when you get back. thanks again. :D

    5. DANA TO THE RESCUE. D WOULD LOOK SO HOT IN A SUPERWOMAN OUTFIT. Sorry that part was more a fantasy thing. Anyway. I guess are are going to be hitting cliff hangers tit for tat right now. Way to go Magoose. Love it. Love you. love the story.

Very nice conversation between dana and alice. i feel so abd for alice it seems has if she has been brainwashed? maybe that word is harsh.. ya get the idea.. too bad tina didn’t hog tie jackie then poor the rest of the merlot on her and let her sleep with the fishes,lol. i have a feeling that jackie is going to ream alice for talking to dana. who knows if she heard the conversation???PPS

    8. fantastic chapter hah plan worked they’re very good at these type of things hey lol loved the danish intereaction very sweet, alice was being so nice to dana pfft i love dana but she left alice and a kiss is way to generous on alices part..i wonder what jackie has to say about all this poolside conoodling haha :) great job goose pps
