“And you stepped into the role,” said Tina softly. “Effortlessly, with conviction, and yet, she double crossed your mother in favor of your sister.”
“The role my mother thought I was born to play, but I wasn’t, that is why I made the deal with Helena, so that I could get out when I wanted out. I’m such a gypsy, I hate to stay in the same place for a long time, maybe acting will keep me moving enough,” said Quin. “So, now that you have MY story, what is yours Tina Kennard? Why are you playing cooperate head honcho?”
“I’m not good at what I do?” asked Tina almost offended. Leaning back onto her arms on the bed, her long hair cascading down over her shoulders, the suit she was wearing was day wrinkled, but still suited her well.
“No, I didn’t say that, but are you passionate about it? Is it your drug?” asked Quin in a sultry tone, standing up, with her hands in her pockets in front of Tina.
Tina sat back, stunned at the thought, the observation from someone who was almost a total stranger, “I want to make movies that change someone’s life, if I’d have seen a Loving Annabelle when I was younger, I might have realized…”
“That you were gay?” said Quin quickly. “But you’re not, you were with Henry…,” said Quin, crouching down onto her hunches, forearms on her knees, hands, long elegant fingers dangling off her knees. Studying Tina for a moment, giving no indication of what she was thinking.
Staring into Quin’s eyes, wishing that she weren’t wearing the contacts, because Quin’s brilliant green eyes were mesmerizing, swallowing, Tina said, “I know I was with Henry. I don’t know what I was going to say.”
“You were going to say, you would have realized you were gay, Tina, I’ve known you for a while, not intimately, but I’ve watched you work and interact with your friends. Watched you with Henry on occasion, as much as you want to be in that safe, comfortable world of being straight, I highly doubt you are. I’m not one to talk, since I kept that part of my life a secret for a long time, because I was always in Helena’s perfect shadow, the less I was like Helena, the better. Maybe Bette was the only woman you were ever going to fall in love with, but if you limit your experiences, you are going to regret it. Now, I think I have to go, I have an early call in the morning…,” smiled the youngest Peabody. Standing effortlessly, not saying another word, leaving Tina thinking on the prop bed about where exactly her life was heading.

Yay, Al kept the secret… so far, that is. So, Jo’s ready to go all human for Bette… I liked the idea of an infallible Jo. If she can’t die, Bette can’t lose her… and I don’t want Bette to lose her. I’d like a Darci on hand to cure any ailment: hangnails, colds, preventative measures for grey hairs (don’t have any yet, thank goodness)… I think Lara and Carmen can work, I just think they should try it and see… the heat’s already there, can they build something a bit more lasting? Al and Ro, still hot, and Ro’s just going to have to realize that Alice isn’t going to stop loving her, no matter what… Shane! Sam! Date? What kind of date DOES one take a millionaire on? I’d show Sam the life of a pauper. BBQ ribs on a paper plate from a roadside trailer, a couple of beers, and a rest of the night she wouldn’t forget. Some things, money can’t buy… Is Becca gonna have a thing for Quin? Quin’s a bit of a wild card, isn’t she? I keep pairing her up with everyone, in my mind. I thought for a while there, she was gonna prove to be a bit too much temptation for Alice! Quin certainly is tempting… plus she’s wicked smart. Tina should heed her words… if she’s as straight, then the sky is green. Great update, Janet. You *totally deserved* that award, *t o t a l l y*! I’m always waiting for more of this story. Yea! Sam and Shane are finally gonna get it on. It’ll be interesting to see what happens next with all the couples you have paired up. I’m really liking the depth of feeling between Bette and Jo. Lara and Carmen are really cute as a couple. The movie with Quin is becoming more intriguing. And has Tina changed her mind again?

So glad you’ve recovered from your ICU experience. LOL. You mentioned my favorite movie of the moment ‘Loving Annabelle’ – Sweet. I’m worried that Jo is going to be normal again. It probably won’t stop her from instinctually taking chances & basically being a bad ass always risking her life. Is it too late to scream “DON’T DO IT JO”!? Sam’s fear is understandable. Damn! the electricity between Quin & Becca made me want to see them onscreen. Lovin’ the direction of your fic.
what to say, what to say…first off…CONGRATS!! You deserve to win and of course we don’t think this will stunt your creative mind and make us think everyone is safe…after all you wouldn’t be you if you did that! Tina needs someone in her life, so go ahead and do that i suppose…LOL…and Bette…loved how she wanted to protect Jo and indirectly herself of possibly losing someone else she loves…poor thing is still very much broken. I love her and Jo..so…please continue…oh…what’s up with Meredith being down for an hour and a half then waking up with no problems?? UNBELIEVABLE!!! LOL

Totally enjoying Bette in love, but bettyvhall is right, now it is time for Tina to be in love…can I put in my request that it is with a WOMAN. Hey, I know…SIMONE!!!! LOL Thanks for the shout out for Loving Annabelle. As you can probably tell from my other stuff, Simone captured me. Maybe she could sweep Tina off her feet, or vice versus…hell, Tina could even be the top with Simone!
