“I don’t know, was just making sure,” said Sam looking up at the glass and steel building. “Ok, gotta let you go, I’ll be outta Seattle by 3pm, I hope. So I might be home in time to tuck the little tyke in, if Addison can do the harvest today, I’ll have her do it, she’s great. You’d like her.”
“I’m sure I would. Are you going to tuck me in too?” asked Shane in a deep smokey voice.
“Hmmm, I think about it,” giggled Sam. “I love you.”
“Love you too,” echoed Shane as Sam closed the connection. She looked over at Shay, who was peeling the orange, he smiled at Shane and Shane smiled back, at least things were good, normal, and Sam would be home soon.

“Why the hell didn’t you tell me!” yelled Jo irate at Emma for keeping things fro her, of all the people in the world that Jo trusted, she trusted Emma the most. She ranked right up there with Bette.
“I thought you’d get pissed?” asked Emma as they walked along the sidewalk heading into APO. Rosita was already there, they were hot on the trail of a flourishing crime syndicate. “Which you are, so, I was right.”
“Pissed? Why would I be PISSED THAT YOU SAW BETTE GETTING MARRIED TO SOMEONE ELSE!” roared Jo causing the few people who were jogging turned, jogging backwards to see what the woman in a suit was yelling about. Jo grimaced, chiding herself for losing her temper, but she didn’t want to lose some thing else, Bette.
“Calm down,” ordered Emma, turning and placing a gentle hand on Jo’s chest. “Now you listen to me, you know as well as I do that my powers, or my visions, aren’t always right.”
“Really? Since when? I’ve only seen you be right! When does this happen, when did you see it?” asked Jo who was in a frenzy not having slept since Natalie’d spilled the not-so-secret secret. Unable to ask Bette anything, Jo had simmered at home the night before, not going to Bette’s but sleeping at Twilight instead. Her heart ached at the thought of life without Bette in it.

Damn, that was intense. Although it seem inevitable that Sam would die with her luck or lack of. Too bad Jo could save her.
Nah i loved it. I just had some really bad coffee plus, i get cranky when nothing’s good on tv.

J, I know you can figure out a way for Sam to still be alive. Please…Come on, why does anyone have to die? You made us love these characters that you created, so don’t take them away from us. PLEEEEEZE……save Sam!!!!
DAMN JM! Is Sam’s family tree cursed or what? More hardship has come this womans way than any character in a Lifetime T.V. movie. I was reading this update w/ the feeling of gloom in the pit of my stomach (& you didn’t disappoint.) Have to mention, you continue to physically torture Jo – ‘her nose exploded’ – too gross. LOL I’ll stick to my repetitive adjectives instead of digging for new ones that describe your fic – F*ckin’ fantastic.By the by just read JADES again this past week I was just as glued as I was the first time.
Damn you’re good!!! Better than good!! I am so caught up in this story! Thank you J.
Excellent installment…but I need to upgrade you from mean to evil for killing Sam, wickedly evil JM!
nooooo Sam can’t die …sam ROCKS!!!..it has to be a dream….pleaaaaseeee?????
