    Damaged Ch. 124

“Hey my two love birds.” Alice and Dana smiled as Kit hugged them. The girls said hi to Kit and stood. “If you guys are ready, you can sit down and food will be delivery to you.” The girls nodded and took a seat at the table. Jenny took a drink of a glass of water in front of her. She cleared her throat and put her hands on the table.

“Tim came and visit a couple of days ago.” Everybody looked up at her. Shane touched her shoulder.

“What happened?” Jenny waved it off.

“It was nothing; he brought his pregnant fiancée for the trip. Miranda is her name, and she seems like the kind of woman that would wait on him hand and foot. I know that Tim would enjoy that. I wanted to have a respectable conversation with him, but it didn’t happen. He was still burdening from what I’ve done to him. He didn’t let go, but I told him if he wanted to live with life with his new family, he should get over it.” Everybody nodded. “Well enough about me, Dana, how’s training for the US Opens?” Dana smiled.

“Everything’s going great; I have a few days until I leave for San Diego. I wanted to tell you guys, you’re all invited for the Opens. I mean if you guys want to go.” Shane spoke up.

“I’ll go; I wouldn’t miss it for the world.” Everybody else agreed.

“I won’t go,” everybody looked at Candace. “I don’t think it’s my time to be involved in your guys’ trips.” Tina grabbed Candace’s hand.

“No, it’s fine. You can come along.”

“Tina, if Candace doesn’t want to go, don’t beg her.” Tina looked at Bette. “I mean it’s her choice right.” Bette smiled. The girls looked at Bette and Tina.

“What’s wrong Bette? Afraid of competition?” Bette laughed at Tina and dropped her head.

“What competition?” Helena grabbed Bette’s hand and looked at her.

“Bette, love this is not the time.” Bette shook her head.

“This is a perfect time,” Bette turned her attention to Tina. “You think there’s a competition between me and you? There was never a competition Tina, you knew you could never win when you were with me. What makes you think you will now that I’m out of your life?”
