    Chapter 11

    Previously….

    “No, Bette I would like to bring them over. I can’t explain it, but it’s just different with you. Maybe it’s because of Colin, but I don’t feel like I have to protect them from you.”

    Bette looked Tina in the eyes taking her hand. “I won’t ever give you reason to feel like you need to.”

    Nothing more was said…. nothing more needed to be said….

    Two days had passed since the day that changed both women’s lives. Both women had spent countless hours thinking about the other. Neither sure of how it had happened but both of their hearts had been completely captured by the others, and the walls that had been carefully constructed and reinforced over the years were being torn down, neither had the power to stop it if they had wanted to.

    Tina sat at her desk trying to review a script, but between the thoughts of Bette and worries of what next weeks doctor’s appointment would bring she was having trouble concentrating. ‘I wonder if she got the flowers I sent’

    “Waaahhhhhhh” Dylan announced is awakened state with a loud wale and Tina was drawn from her thoughts of Bette. Kate had a meeting at the studio so Tina went to retrieve Dylan stopping to get a bottle of juice on the way. She picked him up and held him close, she loved the feeling of a baby in her arms. As her mind wandered back to thoughts of Bette her phone rang. Tina picked up her phone hoping it was Bette. She checked the caller ID to see it wasn’t.

    “Hey Dane”

    “Hi Tina… I was calling to check on you and Hailey.”

    “Thanks Dane… we are doing alright.”

    “Is she feeling any better?”

    “She is still tired a lot, but she seems to be a little better.”

    “How has her eating been?”

    “She is still eating good… I have been trying to get as much red meat in here as I can”

    “Good Good.. how have you been holding up.”

    “I’m good… great actually”

    5. Too cute, they’re going on a date. Love the way this is moving along, not too fast,but not too slow. Hey, the kids need a play date too. You know, swimming, BBQ, hanging out together with their Mommies.
