“Momma we made you breakfast.” Hailey said almost in a whisper as Tina opened her eyes.
“You did?”
“Yeah Momma see” Skyler pointed to Kate holding the tray.
“Good Morning” Kate said with a smile.
“Thank You” Tina mouthed to Kate. Tina thanked Hailey and Skyler with a hug and a kiss and sent them to eat.
“Ok.. so how was it?” It took everything Kate had to wait until the girls were out of the room.
“OMG Kate it was WONDERFUL! She is absolutely amazing.” Kate couldn’t help but notice the glow radiating from Tina. “I am falling Kate, hard and fast. Last night at dinner she asked about the girls, she wanted to know everything about them, and Kate I could see it in her eyes she really truly wanted to know.”
“Thats great Tina… so what happened when you went to her house?”
“All I can say is WOW!”
“Tina!!! I thought….”
“No I didn’t… we didn’t… Kate we kissed and cuddled that’s it, but damn it felt sooo good. Kate I’ve never felt like that before… ever… with anyone.”
“Ok so now how did it happen ?”
“Well when we got there her sister had set everything up… candles, fireplace, dessert, she even had clothes set out for us to change into.”
“I didn’t think that looked like one of yours.”
“I couldn’t bring myself to change out of them” Tina looked at Kate with an I know I’m hopeless look. “Kate when we kissed last night… God I couldn’t explain it… it was amazing… it felt so right… like I was coming home… finally completely at peace.”
“Wow… Tina don’t let this get away… I’ve never seen you like this.”
“This is so different then ever before Kate, I’m falling in love with her fast…” Tina’s admissions were interrupted by a knock at the door. Tina opened the door to find a delivery boy with an enormous arrangement of roses, three dozen, pink, white and yellow. Kate watched a smile grow across Tina’s face as she read the card.
