    Momma son time and catching up with friends….

    “And Sissy to!”

    “Cool!”

    “So what do you say… you girls ready to head out?”

    “Yeah”

    “Yep”

    “Alright then, so wash up and we will get going.” The girls jumped up, put their dishes on the counter, and ran off to the bathroom. Bette grabbed her purse, keys and the girl’s backpacks and stood near the door waiting for them. As the girls paraded past her she handed out backpacks and followed them out the door.

    “Mommy are you gonna pick us up today?”

    “I sure am Sky, and then we are going to go shopping, we need to get you girls somethings for your room at my house.”

    “We are??” Sky asked with a touch of wonderment.

    “We sure are! We are going to make it look like a little girls room instead of a stuffy old guest room. Does that sound good to you?” Bette’s question was met with cheers of excitement from the girls.

    “Alright here we are girls.” Bette said as she pulled into a parking spot. They all got out and headed to the girls class. One on each side of Bette holding her hands as they walked together. As they walked down the hall Skyler called out “It’s that one over there” directing Bette to their classroom. Bette stopped in front of the door and knelt down by the girls.

    “You girls have a good day, be good, and have fun. I will be back to get you later Ok.”

    Hailey was the first to respond. “Ok Mommy” Bette smiled as Hailey kissed her on the cheek. “Love you”

    “I love you to sweetie”

    Skyler wrapped her arms around Bette’s neck and kissed her on the other cheek “See you later”

    “I love you” Bette said as she hugged the little girl. Sky broke the embrace and headed for the door she paused just before going in and turned back to Bette.

    “I love you Mommy”

    “I love you Sky” Bette barley got the words out before the little took off into her classroom.

    Tina was thrilled by the opportunity to spend the day with Colin. Even though she had to work, she was confident that they would be able to spend some time connecting and was looking forward to it.

    1. Love this story. So happy for Bette and Tina and the way their lives are meshing and the children love it also. Everything is going so well I just hope there is no drama to muck it up. OMG, just had a horrible thought, hope jl (can’t even say her name) does not come back into ther lives nad make a mess of things. Keep them safe and happy with everyone and everything flourishing.     7. I just got caught up with this story, and I LOVE IT. Colin is so cute, I can just see him telling Bette (with his chest sticking out with pride and the biggest smile on his face) how Momma let him set in her office and color while she was working. I hope that Bette’s time shopping with the girls is just as special. It is important that B&T bond with the others children and as a family before the new addition arrives. PPS:o).
